World Cup Time!

Posted by Larry Miller on June 13, 2010 under How | Be the First to Comment

The Stanley Cup Finals are over and World Cup soccer time is upon us. I suppose we need the break from the drama and excitement of men flashing across the ice and bashing each other into dasher boards to get the little puck in the net. The World Cup time is an ideal time to relax, have a cook out with the family, go to the beach, or even read a good book. According to a recent Zogby poll, only 31% of the American men and 17% of the American women are planning to watch any part of the matches. Observing the hype on TV, one would think this is a major event for the people of the United States.

Numbers for the under 30 crowd are somewhat higher than this average, reflecting the globalist thinking foisted up the students in the public schools and academia. Yet even in this group, there is enough realism the prevent them from believing that soccer will become a major sport, ranked with football, baseball, basketball and hockey, in the US. It is notable that auto racing was not included in the question, even though it outdraws the other sports leaders.

The traditional sports tend to be American generations, including hockey where the primary development came from our neighbor in the frozen north. Our sporting preferences show what our “betters” would describe as a negative North American-centric mind set that blinds us to virtue in other parts of the world. It is the ugly face of American exceptionalism that the left and academia (but I repeat myself) have been fighting for decades. Read more of this article »

Stupidity or Hypocrisy?

Posted by Larry Miller on June 7, 2010 under Why | Be the First to Comment

freedom flotillaSometimes I look at the news and wonder if the people writing the stories or those talking to the press even think about what they are passing on the the formerly unsuspecting public. Of course the story may fit the propaganda needs of the issuing government or news organization, but they could at least work a little harder to give us plausible (mis)information that doesn’t strain the credibility of even recent public high school grads.

The current journalistic malfeasance is a story I picked up this afternoon about how the Israel’s recent actions were straining the relationship they had with the government of Turkey. A quick review of the facts shows this to be a ridiculous position from the very start. This “offended” Turkish government gave behind the scenes approval to send a ship load of goods, wide eyed ideologues and a few weapons into an area that the Israeli government had publicly stated for years was a source of terrorist activity against their citizens.

The fact that the IDF (Israeli Defense Forces) stopped the ship and several of the activists died in the process of beating and stabbing the Jewish defenders is considered by the Turks as an affront to their formerly great nation. Their fussing over IDF action defending their homeland is akin to North Korea telling the world that maybe the South Korean vessel was struck by a torpedo, but but that any retaliation would be an act of war. What do these people think of the initial provocation? Read more of this article »

The Israeli Distortion

Posted by Larry Miller on June 3, 2010 under Why | 3 Comments to Read

In watching the reaction to the Israeli enforcement of the Gaza blockade, I am amazed at how much support there is for the Palestinian and those trying to slip through to them. I guess it should not be so surprising as the Jewish people have the object of hate and derision through the ages. They have been persecuted almost everywhere they have lived. What is most disturbing is it is not peasants from some third world country who don’t have the education or common sense to know any better… it is our own fellow Americans who like to think of themselves as so open minded and tolerant – that prejudice is the last thing on their minds.

Even if one does not understand the historical and spiritual significance of Jewish people returning to their home land, just observing the parties in the middle east should show the foolishness and short sightedness of that position. Just as the values are inverted by our government in looking at the tea partiers as a threat to domestic tranquility while ignoring a havoc raised by illegals sneaking across the border, cozying up to people who send their own children to kill themselves in the name of hatred as the older folks hurl rockets into schools and hospitals of people trying to mind their own business just doesn’t make sense. Religious Left: On The Lunatic Fringe

campoloby Audrey Russo

There has been a malevolent movement that has been creeping across our nation for some time now…it’s insidious in its facade…and diabolical in its goals. And it cloaks itself in purity…

The emergence of the Religious Left appeared during the campaign of the last presidential election. They appeared to be Christian in word, but if one peaked under the sheep’s clothing, one would find a sharp, merciless, bite.

One of the characters of this movement is the infamous (in my book) Tony Campolo. His positions on hot button issues have been dubious for a few decades now, but his recent ‘tour’ and message has riled this observer to go verbally postal…

His recent tour stop was at Bethlehem Bible College in the West Bank for the school’s assembly of “Christ at the Checkpoint: Theology in the Service of Peace and Justice.” This school promotes a form of ‘Palestinian’ liberation that is highly approved of by the Religious Left. A contingent that isn’t exactly opposed to violence toward Israel. Read more of this article »

The On-Going Conflict

Posted by Larry Miller on May 31, 2010 under How | Be the First to Comment

israeli flagThis weekend news broke about a skirmish between Israeli commandos and a supposedly unarmed ship carrying humanitarian supplies to the Gaza strip. There are conflicting reports, but the one that gets the most play in the formerly mainstream media is that the ship was attacked for no reason and those killed were simply well meaning, innocents trying to deliver supplies to the poor downtrodden people of Gaza.

This fits the media template that Israel is just a bully pushing around anyone they jolly well please, completely disregarding the numerous times rockets have been smuggled into the area, later to fall into populated areas of the country. A look at a map, which is something most are unwilling to do, will show a country surrounded people who hate  the Jews and their state more than they love their own children. Many consider it their holy duty to eradicate this country from the face of the earth.

Unfortunately there are those in our own country that feel the same way. Many in the current administration see the existence of Israel as the primary obstacle to peace in the middle east. Most Christians have a grasp of our spiritual kinship to the Jewish people and special place these people and their land have in God’s economy. Others have, to their detriment, rejected the reliability of the scriptures and have substituted the humanistic thinking propagated by academia, the media and our own government. Many of the mainline denominations… the ones losing members year after year, are the primary culprits here, but they are not alone. Some, who call themselves evangelical, want to spiritualize much of prophecy, in addition to adding the thinking that since Israel rejected His Messiah, God has forever rejected the Jewish people. Breakup Of US Is Inevitable

Posted by Chuck Baldwin on May 24, 2010 under How | 4 Comments to Read

ObamaCFRPeople all over America are discussing freedom’s future. In short, they are worried. In fact, many are actually talking about State secession. In coffee shops and cafes, and around dining room tables, millions of people are speaking favorably of states breaking away from the union. Not since the turn of the twentieth century have this many people thought (and spoken) this favorably about the prospect of a State (or group of states) exiting the union. In my mind, this is a good thing.

Even many of those who oppose the prospect of secession understand the increasing tyrannical nature of the current central government in Washington, D.C., and that something must be done about it.

The Merriam-Webster online dictionary defines tyranny as “1: oppressive power . . . 2: a government in which absolute power is vested in a single ruler . . . 3: a rigorous condition imposed by some outside agency or force . . . 4: a tyrannical act.” Read more of this article »

Goliath Must Fall! (ISRAELI INDEPENDENCE)

israeli flagMay 14th, 2010: Israel celebrates 62 years of rebirth today. She is the first nation to ever be reborn. This is a powerful testimony to the Adon Hakavod (The L-rd of Glory; Psalm 24:8).

We must not get lost in the festivities; the watchmen must remain vigilant on the walls of Jerusalem (Isaiah 62:6) because the spirit of Goliath has also been reborn to challenge the City of King David. This time this uncircumcised Philistine has left the Valley of Gad to make his final stand on the Mount of Megiddo.

Isaiah 62:6: I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence,

The Bush-Obama War

Posted by Chuck Baldwin on May 10, 2010 under Why | Be the First to Comment

soldierNow it’s Barack Obama’s war. After campaigning against “George Bush’s War” in the Middle East, Obama has escalated that war. By transferring thousands of America’s forces from Iraq to Afghanistan, and by sending an additional 30,000 troops to Afghanistan, the liberal Democrat has demonstrated that his administration is not so different from that of his “conservative” Republican predecessor.

While I was crisscrossing America during the campaign season last year, I repeatedly predicted that no matter who won the White House, John McCain or Barack Obama, neither would end the war in the Middle East. Many Democrats tried to argue with me, saying they knew Obama would end the war. Now they know I told the truth.

During his speech at West Point in which he announced the war’s escalation, he said, “[T]he Taliban [is] a ruthless, repressive and radical movement.” What he (or John McCain or George W. Bush) never bothers to tell you is that this is the same Taliban that the US government SUPPORTED, back when it was fighting Soviet forces in Afghanistan. Read more of this article »

Seven Mexican Police Officers Died… Were You Aware?

Posted by Larry Miller on April 25, 2010 under Why | Be the First to Comment

mexicanpoliceThis weekend, headlines jumped from from the screen of the FoxNews site about a shootout in Ciudad Juarez where drug gangs ambushed two police cars killing seven officers. They did not, however, jump from the screen to visitors of the formerly mainstream media. CNN noted that a 17 year old bystander was killed in a shootout south of the border. It wasn’t until the second paragraph that the article noted seven police officers also died. NBC made no mention and CBS made a small note of the event. Why would this be?

Then, over in Morelia, Mexico, Public Safety Director of the western state of Michoacan was attacked by gunmen armed with “assault” rifles and grenades. She was wounded, but survived, however four others did not. We have some extremely violent lawlessness taking place in our neighbor to the south.

The timing of this brutality was especially unfortunate for those whose current talking points included the trashing of Arizona which was taking steps to defend themselves against the importation of this Mexican violence. The President, who is actively working to legalize the illegal, called the states actions irresponsible. Others have called them unconstitutional and ill advised, threatening lawsuits. Demonstrations, some violent in themselves, sprung up criticizing Arizona’s efforts at self defense… but as of this writing, the law is still scheduled to go into effect this summer. A New And Courageous Leader?

\Mad01ntsofi3datosSONIA NO TIRAROrienteMedioprotagonistasnet0001.JPGOne of Barack Hussein Obama’s favorite terms for the good old USA is “arrogant”. He continually preaches that we have stuck our nose where it did not belong and it has damaged our position in the world community… most of which hates us anyway and they are jealous of the prosperity our freedom has provided. One would think that our president would be disinclined to interfere in the affairs of sovereign nations. As far as nations that value government power over the rights of their citizens, he is behaving as expected. However, when it comes to the nation of Israel, he treats it like one of the fifty seven states he visited during the campaign and wants to control it in the same way.

He believes that Israelis building in their own cities and annoying the Palestinians who don’t live there is detrimental to the “peace process”. He overlooks the fact that Israel is a sovereign nation, and the Palestinians are breaking the tenth commandment by coveting land that is not theirs and their ancestors could not hold on to when confronted by the rightful owners. He ignores the fact that at various points since modern Israel’s formation they have confronted hostile neighbors and pushed them back in defending their people and land, only to have “world opinion” force them back to boundaries the anti-Israeli world desired.

The resident of our White House has cozied up to those who would see us fail… those in Venezuela, those in Iran, those in Korea and anywhere else around the world where strong men are glorified and the people downtrodden. He believes we have been bad stewards of the vast power and prosperity our country had… but really did not deserve. He is redistributing power on an international scale in much the same way that he is attempting to redistribute wealth at home. Read more of this article »

An Imperial Presidency In The Making?

Posted by Chuck Baldwin on April 6, 2010 under Why | Be the First to Comment

cuccsticker2Yesterday, The Wall Street Journal carried a story entitled “Obama Steps Up Confrontation.” It said in part, “On Thursday, the president challenged Republicans who planned to campaign on repealing his health-care bill with, ‘Go for it.’ Two days later, he made 15 senior appointments without Senate consent, including a union lawyer whose nomination had been blocked by a filibuster.

“At a bill-signing event Tuesday, he is set to laud passage of higher-education legislation that was approved despite Republican objections through a parliamentary maneuver that neutralized the party’s filibuster threat.”

Senator Lamar Alexander (R-TN) called Obama’s decision to federalize most student loans “really brazen” and “the most underreported, biggest Washington takeover in history.” Read more of this article »

John McCain’s Attack On Liberty

Posted by Chuck Baldwin on March 17, 2010 under Why | Be the First to Comment

JohnMcCainAnyone paying attention knows that John McCain has been a Big-Government Globalist Neocon (BGGN) for virtually his entire senatorial career. As with many BGGNs hiding out in the Republican Party, McCain likes to talk about smaller government, but his track record is littered with the promotion of one big government program after another. But, what else would one expect from a member of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR)?

Lately, however, McCain has outdone himself. He has introduced two bills in the US Senate that are about as Machiavellian as they could be. I am referring to S.3081, a bill that would authorize the federal government to detain American citizens indefinitely without trial, and S.3002, a bill that would authorize the federal government to regulate vitamins, minerals, and virtually all health and natural food products.

According to Examiner.com, “Last week, John McCain introduced a bill into the U.S. Senate which, if passed, would actually allow U.S. citizens to be arrested and detained indefinitely, all without Miranda rights or ever being charged with a crime.”

The Examiner report continued by saying “This bill, introduced by McCain, who despite overwhelming evidence, claims to be a ‘conservative,’ would not only take away our right to a trial, but would also allow the federal government to arrest and imprison anyone the current administration deems hostile. Not Your Father’s Army

Posted by Chuck Baldwin on February 8, 2010 under Why | Read the First Comment

un_blue_helmetsMost of us Americans have a deep and abiding respect and admiration for our country’s fighting men who have served–and are serving–within the US Armed Forces. We appreciate their willingness to put themselves in harm’s way for the preservation of our nation’s liberty and independence. We honor their sacrifice. Indeed, many of us share that sacrifice with the deaths, dismemberments, and paralysis of our most cherished loved ones who were killed or injured in the line of duty.

It is time, however, that we awaken to the reality of what our military is becoming and where it is heading. Suffice it to say, this is not your father’s army.

On December 8, 1941, my father, Ed Baldwin–along with his two brothers, Bud and Gene–marched down to a recruiting office in Little Rock, Arkansas, to enlist. The Japanese had bombed Pearl Harbor the day before, and no branch of service had to beg people to enlist that day. Bud joined the Navy. Gene joined the Marines. When government officials saw Dad’s resumé, they selected him to help construct the atomic bomb. All three brothers served their country with distinction throughout the war. Thankfully Remembering The Gipper!

On this 99th anniversary of Ronald Reagan’s birth, little can be said that would improve on the words of the man himself.  In listening to his First Inaugural Address, one can only marvel at how far we have fallen.  We can only be inspired and increase our determination that the damage to our country will not be permitted to stand and that we will, once again, be worthy of what America once was.  We have benefited so greatly from living in this wonderful country.  We can do no less than to pass the shining city on a hill to our children and grandchildren.

It Is A Madhouse Out There

Posted by Chuck Baldwin on January 12, 2010 under Why | Be the First to Comment

handgun2I think we need to face it: 2010 is more than a new year; it is also part of a new era in which all vestiges of normalcy and common sense have been left behind. In other words, it is a madhouse out there. Let me give you some examples of what I’m talking about.

Example Number One: In the world of anti-gun elitists, only common people are not allowed to defend themselves.

According to the Richmond (North Carolina) Times-Dispatch, “A sheriff says a North Carolina state senator shot one of two intruders at his home and hospital officials say the man is in fair condition.

“Multiple media outlets reported that Columbus County Sheriff Chris Batten said that 74-year-old Sen. R.C. Soles of Tabor City shot Kyle Blackburn late Sunday afternoon.”

According to the report, “Batten says the shooting occurred when two men went to the senator’s house and tried to kick in his front door. No charges have been filed.” Read more of this article »

What About DDT?

Posted by Larry Miller on December 18, 2009 under Why | Be the First to Comment

mosquitoYesterday I received a rather hostile response to the Copenhagen article. Not only did the reader argue with the facts, but criticized my use of a “non-Christian” source. My initial thoughts were to dash off a quick response to one who obviously is on the enviro bandwagon – one who believes DDT was damaging to both the humans and world we all live in. However, if there is one, I’m sure there are others who may believe this way and because of this, a more in depth discussion is in order. Keeping in mind that books have been written on the subject and the only thing I can do in this venue is hit the high points (or in this case, low points) of the DDT story.

To begin with, as far as citing a “non-Christian” source, here are a few points to ponder. First, I do not know the spiritual circumstances of the filmmakers in question, besides which, all truth is God’s truth. It does not matter who is presenting it. An honest secular scientist when observing and measuring God’s universe will have the same results as a Christian scientist. He may draw different conclusions, or have a different understanding, perhaps, but what he sees, if he wants the truth, will be the truth. There are no Christian microscopes, telescopes, thermometers or even rain gauges.

Second, since the initial criticism was that of a non-Christian film, I have to inquire of the spiritual status of Rachel Carson, who began the DDT panic, as well as those who slavishly followed her in demagoguing the issue to the point of having the life saver banned. The argument cuts both ways. If we are to reject Mr. McAleer’s film, we most like have to reject Ms. Carson’s book. Read more of this article »

Copenhagen: the Real Story

Posted by Larry Miller on December 16, 2009 under Why | 5 Comments to Read

coplogoThere’s a lot going on over in Copenhagen, and many may be surprised to learn that the big brouhaha is not about cap and tax or even Algore’s oversized carbon footprint. Now Nancy Pelosi is pushing to adjourn the House so she can join the party in Denmark and see what additional damage she can do. Even the Director of the UN’s Climate Change Support Team, Janos Pasztor, has been quoted by the Heritage Foundation as saying, “This is not a climate-change negotiation … It’s about something much more fundamental. It’s about economic strength.”

The developing countries are claiming the United States, along with other western democracies, owe their assemblage of third world dictators 100 billion dollars a year. The city is abuzz with useful idiots who actually believe New York and Miami are destined to sink beneath the sea. They tend toward anarchist thinking and those that can read can quote chapter and verse of Marx, Lenin and Mao. There is an overwhelming correlation between militant environmentalism and pernicious socialism.

It turns out that carbon emissions are not even the enemy… capitalism is! The capitalism that took root where free people could work for the benefit of themselves and their families, instead of the “collective good”. It is the capitalism that brought people the highest standard of living in the world. It is the capitalism that was stifled in the controlled economies of both petty and major dictatorships. It is the capitalism that proved economic planning did not work… that those seeking control over their countries were driving them into the ground… and it had to be stopped. The Truth Comes Out

Posted by Larry Miller on December 4, 2009 under Why | Be the First to Comment

It’s amazing how all the hype about man made climate change came crashing down a few days ago when hundreds a emails sent amongst the global warming elite were made public showing the entire premise of the movement was built on fabricated (they called it enhanced) data. Even John Stewart, hardly a conservative icon, noted the irony that word spread of Algore’s crumbling message on the internet he tells us he invented. Michael Savage said those who made these messages public were doing God’s work. It could be true as I believe He has a sense of humor when it comes to the foolishness of men (and women… not to neglect the other half of the population).

Algore at least had the common sense to keep a low profile and cancel his appearance at the upcoming Copenhagen conference. Barack Hussein Obama has not, up to this point. He is still committed to imposing all sorts of controls and regulations on the free American people to bring us into compliance with the wishes of UN bureaucrats, of all people. Apparently he believes his silver tongued teleprompter reading will be sufficient to sway those of us with common sense as it did the unwashed masses during his presidential campaign. Israel Stands Up To The O-man

Posted by Larry Miller on November 19, 2009 under Why | 2 Comments to Read

israeli flagOnce again the Israeli government is defying international pressure, and our very own Barack Hussein Obama, as they begin building a 124 unit apartment complex in the Gilo section of Jerusalem. This is a section of the city that never was occupied by Arabs and is not being built on Arab owned land. Yet, the President of the United States of America has taken it upon himself to order that this not be done. For those who did not realize that Israel was subject to US authority, you are among most of the world outside of Washington DC.

We have seen a shift in American loyalties and support since our new President has taken office. Where in times past, we realized that Israel was our one reliable friend and ally in the middle east, the new kids in town have a decidedly different outlook and value system. They now hear with favor the complaints from the Palestinians who refuse to integrate into any society, in Israel or any of the of the surrounding friendlier countries.

Zalman Shoval, Former Israeli Ambassador to the US, believes there are two possible reasons for this determined attempt at interference in the country’s domestic affairs. “Perhaps they confused the Gilo issue with the planning of a new Israeli neighborhood between Gilo and Beit Jala. Overall, when you sit in Washington and look at the maps it’s hard to tell the difference. The other reason could be that the US administration wants to encourage Abu Mazen (Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas) and is also trying to cover up Hillary Clinton’s various statements, maybe they were trying to create a balance.” Read more of this article »

Sharia Law Is Misunderstood

Posted by Laura Alcorn on November 16, 2009 under Why | Be the First to Comment

AfghanBurkaDid you realize that “The majority of women around the world associate justice for women, with Sharia compliance”? That’s right, according to Dalia Mogahed, President Obama’s, Islamist appointee on the Advisory Council on Faith Based and Neighborhood Partnerships, made this astonishing statement in an interview on a British television show. Mogahed has made news before as a member of the U.S. Muslim Engagement Project, which called for “engagement” with the Muslim Brotherhood — the organization that has a 100 year plan for subverting and overthrowing the West. She teamed up with John Esposito to conduct a poll on Islam, then misrepresented some of the results (some called it “cooking the books”) in order to increase the number of Muslim “moderates.”

What makes Mogahed’s assertion about Shariah even more disturbing is that she made it in an interview hosted by a member of the radical Islamist organization Hizb ut Tahrir on the British Muslim show “Muslimah Dilemma”. HT is committed to the non-violent overthrow of democracy and capitalism and the worldwide imposition under Sharia Islamic law. The organization has been banned as a terrorist organization in several countries — but remarkably, not here in the United States. Miss Mogahed appeared alongside Hizb ut Tahrir’s (HT) national women’s officer, Nazreen Nawaz. During the discussion, on the Islam Channel programme Muslimah Dilemma, the two members of the group made repeated attacks on secular “man-made law” and the West’s “lethal cocktail of liberty and capitalism”. Updates On Hardin, Montana, And China Flag Flap

Posted by Chuck Baldwin on November 2, 2009 under Why | Be the First to Comment

hardin-exteriorIn recent columns, I have reported on both the attempted takeover of the Hardin, Montana, jail facility by a private mercenary force and a Chinese story that the White House would fly the Communist Chinese flag in honor of the 60th anniversary of Mao’s revolution of 1949, which brought the Reds to power (initially killing as many as 3 million Chinese people, and resulting in the deaths of more than 50 million people during those 60 years).

I promised readers that I would keep an eye out for these stories and provide necessary updates. Well, here are those updates.

The Hardin, Montana, Update:

On Friday, October 9, the private mercenary company that had attempted to take over the Hardin jail facility, American Police Force (APF), announced that it was pulling out of negotiations on contracts with the Two Rivers Authority (the economic development arm of the city of Hardin) to operate the facility. This announcement was made after my column was released and many other news sources, Internet bloggers, and talk radio hosts blitzed the story to the public. We showed how APF’s frontman, Serbian immigrant Michael Hilton, had a criminal record, and is, in fact, currently facing criminal charges for fraud in California. We also reported that APF had fraudulently attempted to identify itself as the “City of Hardin Police Department” by patrolling Hardin’s streets with Mercedes-Benz SUVs with Hardin police markings stenciled on the sides of the vehicles. (The city of Hardin does not have a police department. The city is policed by the Big Horn County Sheriff’s Office.) Read more of this article »

Placing His Nation At Risk

Posted by Larry Miller on September 23, 2009 under Why | Be the First to Comment

israeli flagBefore the entire world, at the marginally legitimate United Nations, Barack Hussein Obama officially threw the nation of Israel under the bus when he told the assembled mob of assorted dictators and thugs, with a few of America’s friends thrown in, that our country “does not accept the legitimacy of continued Israeli settlements.” Of course the comment was cheered by the major part of the world that despises the Jewish state… but while he may speak for the government, he does not speak for all of the American people.

What Mr. Obama does not understand about Israel is that their safety is not dependent on US good will or power… and neither is the success of her enemies. Thousands of years ago the restoration of Israel to their homeland was forecast by a power greater than Barack Obama. It was this power that brought the Jewish people home and this power will preserve it there without the help of our aircraft and intelligence.

By taking upon himself to decide the propriety of settlements in another country the President may have put our own country at greater risk than we have ever been in the past. As far back as the book of Genesis the Lord told Abram, later to be called Abraham and become the father of the Jewish nation, that, “I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse.” Everyone has the choice of whether or not to accept this… it is apparent that this president does not.

Is he bringing a curse down upon our country at a time that we can least afford to further offend the Almighty? Perhaps. Perhaps he will bring his curse down upon our nation or perhaps it will fall upon Obama and his parters in crime. We need to consider Abraham’s negotiation with God over the fate of Sodom and Gomorrah. “Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked?” he asked. Then he continued, “Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein?” Read more of this article »

Push For Globalism Continues

Posted by Chuck Baldwin on September 16, 2009 under Why | Be the First to Comment

Globalism FlagWhen George W. Bush was President, he greatly advanced the prospect of integrating the United States with a North American Union (NAU). With no thanks to most Christian conservatives or the mainstream news media, hundreds of thousands of patriotic Americans rallied against this proposal and–at least temporarily–seriously stymied Bush’s draconian dream. But if you thought President Barack Obama would be content to let the NAU die a natural death, think again.

Reporting for World Net Daily, author/researcher Jerome Corsi recently reported, “President Obama is continuing President George W. Bush’s effort to advance North American integration with a public-relations makeover calculated to place the program under the radar of public opinion and to deflect concerns about border security and national sovereignty.

“The Obama administration has ‘rebranded’ and ‘refocused’ the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America, or SPP, to advance the Bush administration’s agenda of North American integration under the rubric of the “North American Leaders Summit,’ a less controversial banner, according to confidential sources in the U.S. Department of Commerce and State Department who agreed to speak with WND only if their comments were kept off the record.”

As further evidence of President Obama’s determination to continue the Bush policy of a commercial union between countries (or “League of Democracies” as John McCain called it), Corsi also reported, “President Obama has actively backtracked on his campaign promises to renegotiate NAFTA to get provisions more favorable to American workers.” Read more of this article »

We Don’t Get No Respect!

obamaThis past weekend, those who were watching honest reporting saw some headlines reflecting the esteem our country and our president commands throughout the world. What is interesting is that the man sitting in the oval office, along with his party, roundly criticized what they perceived to be George Bush’s heavy handed approach to foreign affairs… vowing to bring about a new era of respect and respectability.

It is reported that Israeli ambassador Michael Oren was summoned to the State Department.* He was told that a building project being developed by an American investor in east Jerusalem must not go forward as it interfered with their plans for regional peace. The State Department sought to forbid any Jewish development on captured lands in an attempt to draw boundaries more satisfactory to the Palestinians.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded to the attempted land use demand by commenting, “I can only imagine what would happen if someone suggested Jews could not live in certain neighborhoods in New York, London, Paris or Rome. There would certainly be a major international outcry.” This new construction is part of his plan for a unified Jerusalem. It is surprising that he took no public offense at the treatment of his ambassador as some lackey from a client state… however, it appears that he is focused on what is best for his country and not on petty one upsmanship. Taken at face value, things look pretty bleak for the nation of Israel. Barack Hussein Obama recently made another apology tour through the middle east without visiting our most faithful and trusted (up until now) ally. One day, while he was worshiping in the temple of his god Nisroch, his sons Adrammelech and Sharezer cut him down with the sword, and they escaped to the land of Ararat. And Esarhaddon his son succeeded him as king. Read more of this article »
