			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img class="alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-4280" title="Herman Cain" src="http://www.politicalchristian.org/wordpress/wp-content/2011/11/herman-cain-one-500x345-150x150.jpg" alt="Herman Cain" width="150" height="150" />I&#8217;ve thought about how to write this in a way that will not sound insensitive to cases where there are true cases of harassment that are sexual in nature.  I probably have not been able to do this, so I will just say what has been on my mind for several years.</p>
<p>We have come to the point where such charges are bandied about for political and financial interest.  They have become a form of legalized extortion in many cases, where they are used to inflict damage on someone in either the corporate or political world because the assumption is always “where there is smoke there is fire”.</p>
<p>For the radical feminist types&#8230; and those not quite so radical, but still wanting to gain something or inflict some pain on a male of our species, the charge of sexual harassment has been a God send&#8230; only it didn&#8217;t come from Him.  Just the airing of such charges, often anonymously as in the case of Herman Cain, is enough for the man&#8217;s political enemies to want to convict and execute the man.</p>
<p><span id="more-4279"></span></p>
<p>Just the thought of this process of conviction with no proof, or even an accuser in many cases, is patently anti-American.  The man can have no defense.  In the case of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, the reason the progressive left tried to defeat him was the “seriousness of the charges”.  Sure the charges may have been serious, however, our system is built upon the truthfulness of the charges.</p>
<p>Until we can determine the truthfulness of the charges against Herman Cain, the American philosophy is innocent until proven guilty.   The formerly main stream media was all atwitter a few days ago when they reported that yet another woman had “come forward” with more charges against the candidate.  But, is that what really happened?  We saw an ambulance chasing lawyer in a two thousand dollar suit come to a microphone and tell us about this poor woman&#8217;s complaint.  The problem was that she did not want to tell her story publicly and she did not want to be identified so as to protect her privacy.</p>
<p>The only people who could possibly take such an announcement seriously are those who are already looking for something to hang on the man&#8230; or to hang the man.  Careers have been ruined by such reckless disregard for common sense, AND NO ONE IS WILLING TO SPEAK UP ABOUT THIS FOOLISHNESS.  It is one more method the progressive left has to silence their opponents.  If they can&#8217;t drum up support for racism charges, the next best thing is sexual harassment charges.</p>
<p>The formerly main stream media just eats up this kind of story when it is about a conservative.  On the other hand it is an admirable asset in the resume of a member of the liberal establishment&#8230; almost a required asset.  Can any one say Monica Lewinsky?</p>
<p>Beyond the problem of conviction without proof is the idea that there is no real definition of sexual harassment.  The working definition revolves around how it made the “victim” feel.  That is innocent gestures and comments, if they are perceived by the “victim” to be harassment, are deemed to be so by many in government and media.  There is never even the thought of an allowance for an overly sensitive psyche.  Yet, we allow these perceptions govern our opinions of many people.</p>
<p>Of course, there has been inappropriate behavior on the part of politicians and business men.  Excuse me, I used the left&#8217;s word.  They love the terms appropriate and inappropriate since they don&#8217;t really believe there is a right and wrong, and they want to present themselves as arbiters of appropriateness.  This should really have been phrased, some politicians and business men have behaved badly.  They did things that were wrong.  This does not excuse the setting our standards to accommodate every think skinned, man hating, radical feminist.</p>
<p>Bad behavior should, indeed, be punished.  Behavior that is misunderstood or misinterpreted should not be.  Yet we have made no provision for this in our rush to protect the bruised sensitivities of some of our sisters.</p>
<p>I used to work with a woman who was the wife of a youth pastor and had two teenage sons.  Her favorite saying was “men are pigs”, which she said with a smile.   I could not, nor would I argue with her.  She understood us better than any of us understand women.  Men and women are not only different physically, but they think differently as well.</p>
<p>As it is, we are all expected to throw a good man under the bus on nebulous non-announcements by people who have had nothing to do with the alleged incidents.  It is time for those of us who value real justice to put aside this all this speculation unless&#8230; and that is a big and sincere UNLESS there is some proof beyond hearsay from those who have an interest in the outcome.</p>
<p>I understand there are real incidents where people in authority are taking advantage of those who work for them, but we have been carried away by sympathy – not logic. There is a saying that “hard cases make bad laws”.  They also make bad public policy.  To attempt to generalize from the worst of behaviors is trivializing these cases and overreacting to the minor, or non-existent missteps.</p>
<p>I also understand that there pain for the real victims of bad behavior.  It has been written, “Better 10 Guilty Men Go Free than to Convict a Single Innocent Man”. The validity of this can be discussed another day, but that is the prevailing philosophy of our legal system&#8230; but not in the case of sexual harassment.  We have permitted those with an agenda of cow us into setting logic aside to help in their witch hunt.  Those interested in justice – in right and wrong cannot let this go unchallenged.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img class="alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-4171" title="Declaration of Independence" src="http://www.politicalchristian.org/wordpress/wp-content/2011/10/DeclarationIndependence-150x150.jpg" alt="Declaration of Independence" width="150" height="150" />Many are upset, and rightly so, about the current regime forcing acceptance of active homosexuals within the ranks of our military.  The same regime would really like to find a way to force all states to recognize same sex marriages that are sanctioned by a handful of states that have rejected the traditional, biblical view of the institution.  There is a feeling by many that this rejection is primarily because the traditional view IS the biblical view.</p>
<p>However, we need to consider what these actions really mean&#8230; and what they do not mean.  These actions are simply a reflection of the predominant thinking of a small segment of our society seeking to impose their values on the rest of us.  It is not any indication of the right or wrong of the such a position.  It does, however, expose the citizens to the consequences of this corporate tolerance of behavior that our Creator rejects in no uncertain terms.</p>
<p>As early as the third book of the Bible, Leviticus, chapter 18, we see, “Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman; that is detestable.”   Some say that is an Old Testament concept, that the New Testament preaches a concept of freedom.  Yet Romans 1 says, “Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones.  In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.”</p>
<p><span id="more-4170"></span></p>
<p>Those who tell us something other than that are preaching another gospel.  They may have the ability to force their view upon our country for a time, but be assured, it is only their wishful opinion and it does not come from above.  It is at this time that we need to look at something the founders of this great country knew.   Our Declaration of Independence contains these words:</p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;">We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.&#8211;That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, &#8211;That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.</p>
<p>What we see here is that the founders were setting up a government that recognized the rights we, as human beings, not just Americans, have and where they come from.  It says we have them as an endowment from our creator.  He created us to be free.  This founding document is only recognizing them, not granting them.</p>
<p>It is when governments put themselves in the business of creating and granting new, discovered, rights, like the right to kill your offspring, or the right to things that others have worked for, or the right to practices that led to the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, that trouble arises.</p>
<p>What is our response to such an over stepping of the authority by those who have been entrusted with our leadership and safety?  We may have to regard some of the legalities, but we do not have to accept their definition of right and wrong.  We do not have to live our lives according to their distorted world view.</p>
<p>Among other things, we need to understand the difference between legal vs. illegal and right vs. wrong.  We would love to live in a world where there was there was a correspondence between right and legal.  Unfortunately, such is not the case.  Our betters would want us to adjust our values to align with what they have determined to be the standards of the days.</p>
<p>For the Christian, this is not an option.  We can only hold true to the things we know to be right.  We must stand for these things, even if it brings us into conflict with our government.  We have to consider the long term consequences of such a decision, even if it brings about short term hardship.  We know in our hearts that there is a power greater than Washington DC, and it is not China.  We need to know that there is someone who cares about us more than the President, and it isn&#8217;t one of the writers at the New York Times.</p>
<p>The issue of marriage is only one of  the many points of conflict.  Ultimately there is only right and wrong.  Our future depends on which side we are on.</p>

<p>Fort Worth, TX — On Tuesday, high school freshman Dakota Ary was given in-school suspension for stating in class that he believes homosexuality is wrong because of his Christian faith. Liberty Counsel is representing Dakota in this case, demanding full vindication and a full retraction of the suspension. If the school board does not comply, a lawsuit will be filed for violation of Dakota’s First Amendment rights.</p>
<p>Dakota was in a German language class at Western Hills High School on Tuesday when the topic of homosexuality arose. “I&#8217;m a Christian and, to me, being homosexual is wrong,” Dakota said to one of his classmates. His teacher overheard the comment, wrote Dakota an infraction, and sent him to the principal’s office. The class topic was religious beliefs in Germany. During the discussion, one student asked what Germans thought about homosexuality in relation to religion. Another student then asked to hear some translated terms such as “lesbian.” These questions provoked the conversation about Christianity and Dakota’s expression of his opinion to one classmate.</p>
<p>The discipline referral form says the comment was out of context, even though the lesson for the day was on religious beliefs. The teacher charged Dakota with “possible bullying” and indicated, “It is wrong to make such a statement in public school.” Last week, the teacher displayed a picture of two men kissing on a “World Wall” and told the students that homosexuality is becoming more prevalent in the world and that they should just accept it. Many of the students were offended by the teacher’s actions and his continually bringing up the topic of homosexuality in a German language class.<span id="more-4123"></span></p>
<p>Matthew Krause, Litigation Counsel for Liberty Counsel, along with Dakota’s mom, Holly Pope, met with school administrators Wednesday morning. Krause states: “Just because you walk through the schoolhouse doors doesn&#8217;t mean you shed your First Amendment rights. Dakota wasn&#8217;t disrupting class. He wasn&#8217;t bullying or harassing anybody. He was just stating his personal opinion on a topic somebody else brought up and in a civil and respectful manner.”</p>
<p>Liberty Counsel recently defended Florida Teacher of the Year Jerry Buell, after he was suspended for a comment he made outside of class on his personal Facebook page, expressing his disapproval of legalized homosexual marriage in New York. After a week-long “investigation,” the Lake County School Board fully exonerated and reinstated Buell.</p>
<p>Harry Mihet, Senior Litigation Counsel for Liberty Counsel, commented: “The double standard advocated by homosexual activists is mind boggling. Jerry Buell was suspended for opposing same-sex “marriage” outside of class. This teacher in Texas is actually bullying his students into accepting the homosexual lifestyle inside the class, and yet it is his student, not him, that gets suspended. We will vigorously defend and restore Dakota’s constitutional rights.”</p>

<p>Cross City, FL – Today Liberty Counsel filed a <a href="http://www.liberty.edu/media/9980/attachments/notice_appeal_dixie_county_072611.pdf" target="_blank">Notice of Appeal</a> on behalf of Dixie County, Florida, at the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals to defend the county’s Open Forum policy, which allows private displays of law and history, including the Ten Commandments. Liberty Counsel represents Dixie County in a federal lawsuit filed by the ACLU in 2007, after the county permitted a local resident to erect a Ten Commandments monument outside the county courthouse, where other private displays are also allowed.</p>
<p>The U.S. District Court in the Northern District of Florida (Gainesville Division) ruled against Dixie County, ordering the Ten Commandments monument be removed by August 14, claiming it violates the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment. The plaintiff represented by the ACLU does not live in the county, has never lived in the county, and has no intent to ever return to the county. Liberty Counsel will argue on appeal that the case should be dismissed because the plaintiff has no standing to sue. Moreover, Liberty Counsel will awww.LC.orgrgue that the case presents a Free Speech, not an Establishment Clause, issue. The Open Forum policy allows private citizens to erect private historical displays at their own expense.<span id="more-3893"></span></p>
<p>The Ten Commandments monument was purchased and erected by Joe H. Anderson, Jr., a longtime resident, businessman, and benefactor in Dixie County. Mr. Anderson placed his monument in the Open Forum without any government funds, after he asked for and received permission from the county. Mr. Anderson owns and maintains the monument, not the county.</p>
<p>Liberty Counsel prevailed in cases at the Sixth and Seventh Circuit Courts of Appeal against challenges brought by the ACLU involving government-sponsored displays of the Ten Commandments.</p>
<p>Mathew D. Staver, Founder of Liberty Counsel and Dean of Liberty University School of Law, commented: “Dixie County is not establishing a religion by allowing a private individual to place a monument in a location where similar monuments may be placed. Dixie County should be applauded, not sued, for fostering open and robust speech in a public forum. Rather than take advantage of the forum, the ACLU prefers to censor speech with which it disagrees. The Ten Commandments are universally recognized as a symbol of the law and are appropriate for display in courthouses and similar settings. Public display of the Commandments is consistent with our nation&#8217;s history and with the First Amendment. There are more than 50 depictions of the Ten Commandments at the U.S. Supreme Court, and there have been thousands of displays throughout the country for many years.”</p>

		<title>Removing God&#8230; One More Time!</title>

<p>NBC stirred a firestorm of criticism when they thought they were putting together what was, to them, a patriotic segment for their golf coverage.  The fact that they told us that it was not done to offend anyone indicates what they think about the average American.  This may be more disturbing than if they had done it just to create controversy.</p>
<p>Once NBC was called on leaving out “under God” and “indivisible” they issued a limp-wristed apology.</p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;">&#8220;We began our coverage of this final round just about three hours ago, and when we did it was our intent to begin the coverage of this U.S. Open championship with a feature that captured the patriotism of our national championship being held in our nation&#8217;s capital for the third time, regrettably, a portion of the Pledge of Allegiance that was in that feature was edited out. It was not done to upset anyone, and we&#8217;d like to apologize to those of you who were offended by it.&#8221;</p>
<p><span id="more-3713"></span></p>
<p>They knew what they were doing, and just thought no one would notice or care.  The people at the network, like most of us, think everyone is like them.  What they found out is that not everyone thinks like these network elites.  After all, they  see us as just simple schleps living in flyover country&#8230; slack jawed, knuckle dragging neanderthals who need their betters to select what news we see and then tell us what to think about it.</p>
<p>The president doesn&#8217;t recognize or consider divine guidance, so leaving out these “non-critical” words as they did is just falling into line with administration thinking by this once respected member of the formerly mainstream media.  Then, they ran it during a golf broadcast.</p>
<p>Now, if I used their everyone-is-like-me thinking, I would say no one watches golf, it doesn&#8217;t matter.  I mean, it&#8217;s not like they pulled this stunt on a NASCAR or NFL broadcast&#8230; or even a baseball game.  But some people do actually watch these guys smack a ball around a beautifully manicured field.  My apologies to those who like to watch golf, but to me, it&#8217;s like watching fishing or bowling.  These are things you do, not watch, but that&#8217;s another story entirely.</p>
<p>Surprising to NBC was that within minutes word was flashing around the internet, and not much longer the segment was up on YouTube for all the world to see.  The criticism rose to the level that just three hours after the airing, announcer Dan Hicks read the statement shown above.</p>
<p>The apology was just meant to get viewers to not be upset with them.  There was no remorse for the blatant display of the gap between the northeastern elites and the average Americans.  This is even more distressing than the editing error itself.  It shows we cannot put confidence in much of anything they tell us because they see events through totally different eyes.</p>
<p>The other problem with this whole affair is that the network took this special occasion to create their version of a patriotic segment simply because they were playing near the nations&#8217; capitol.  It is ironic that they see this town as the center of national virtue and pride, when the reality is somewhat different.  They just don&#8217;t understand that the real center is all throughout the heartland&#8230; stretching from coast to coast, where ever the spirit of America beats in the hearts of the citizens.</p>
<p>The good news is that the people spoke up and let NBC know about the error of their ways.  The bad news is that there were not more people raising a fuss about this insult to our country and our Creator.  We are, too often, wrapped up in our own little worlds.  We are anesthetized by our sports and entertainment.  Our couch potato lifestyle leads us to let the world pass us by, leaving the heavy lifting to others we hope will respond.  It can be a pleasant euphoria&#8230; but a fatal one.</p>

In general is was a pretty useful and workable rule at the time.</p>
<p>However today it seems to only work in one direction as we have seen in the uncivil treatment received by Sarah Palin or Ron Paul and others at the conservative/libertarian end of the spectrum. While conservatives have gotten used to the being ostracized and having lies and half truths told about them, the more moderate members of the party seem to have much thinner skin.</p>
<p>We are told we should not be criticizing Republicans who are throwing conservative principles under the bus as the country plunges downward in an economic tailspin. While party members are squelched when bringing this up, polls show more anger among conservatives at the Republicans than Democrats. This should be cause for concern by those counting on this voting block.</p>
<p>The practice of catering to incumbents, despite a lack of adherence to generally accepted, smaller, less intrusive government thinking has led the party to silently take the poison pill of semi-Democrat influence in the leadership positions. Yet no one is supposed to speak up.<span id="more-3351"></span></p>
<p>We saw this in action when President Bush supported Pennsylvania Senator Arlen Specter during his last primary fight against a conservative Pat Toomey. It was explained that we are better off with a “moderate” Republican who can win than with a real Republican who may not. While credit must be given for Senator Specter’s support during the Clarence Thomas hearings, it could be argued that over the course his career, he has done as much damage to our country as many liberals in the Senate.</p>
<p>Part of the problem comes from the uneasy alliance between many of the professionals for whom the political game is a vocation devoid principled involvement and many in the grassroots who are motivated by causes and issues the other half can not comprehend. The “values voters”, as they are sometimes called, have this nasty habit of wanting candidates to stand for something other than just wearing the right jersey when trotting out onto the playing field.</p>
<p>This is an ongoing battle in which the professionals expect the values voters to stick with and work for the Republican Party as it is the only one that even gives lip service to their issues. Conservative candidates are labeled as “extreme” which really means they are more passionate some issue than the poll driven “moderates”. It means, also, that by invoking the eleventh commandment, the true believers are forbidden to point out the squishiness and wayward behavior of the traditional party leadership and office holders.</p>
<p>The last two national election cycles have shown that the public is catching on to this Democrat-lite in Republican clothing practice. Yet many of the political class continue to tell us that we should not stand so strongly on principle and be a little more amenable to the ideas of the left. They think this is where the people are going and the party must adapt.</p>
<p>There is only one word to describe this thinking: Wrong! It means that we who believe in values such as life, personal responsibility and the like need to be more vocal. We need to hold leaders to their promises and, if they don’t perform, replace them! It’s time to remember that voting for the lesser of two evils is still voting for evil. We can no longer accept being used and abused by political leaders who covet our votes but not our input.</p>
<p>Some will say that life would be even worse with people who don’t even give the time of day to pro-life activists, second amendment defenders or property rights advocates. I would ask them, how much worse could it be than the situation we have now with an almost non-functional minority in both houses in Washington? The liberal/progressive left is poised to run roughshod over any semblance of common sense. Yet we are being told by many, that politically, we need to do more of the same that put us in this position.</p>
<p>It’s time for those of us who value the promise of America and the values on which it was founded to reject the efforts of those who would silence us. It’s time to move forward on what we know to be right rather than what we are told is expedient. It’s time to consider what Charles Stanley’s grandfather taught him, “obey God and leave all the consequences to Him.” We’ve tried everything else, now it’s time we use right and wrong as our standard of involvement and support rather than practical expediency.</p>

<p>Pensacola, FL – Today, Federal District Court Judge M. Casey Rodgers granted in part a <a href="http://www.liberty.edu/media/9980/attachments/order_santa_rosa_032111.pdf" target="_blank">Preliminary Injunction</a> in favor of twenty-four clients of Liberty Counsel, and granted a request for hearing on their remaining claims. The case attracted national attention when the ACLU attempted to punish and even jail local school administrators and staff for praying over their meal. The ACLU pressured the Santa Rosa County (Florida) School Board into a Consent Decree that unconstitutionally forbids all manner of religious expression at school, right down to the mere uttering of the words “God Bless.” After vindicating the school officials charged with criminal contempt for prayer, Liberty Counsel filed suit to invalidate the unconstitutional Consent Decree. The School District joined hands with the ACLU in defending the Consent Decree, and both asked the Court to dismiss Liberty Counsel’s challenge.<span id="more-3344"></span></p>
<p>Today, Judge Rodgers denied the motions to dismiss and concluded that the lawsuit must be allowed to proceed. Affirming Liberty Counsel’s long-standing position that the Consent Decree unconstitutionally bans the private speech of teachers, students, parents and community members at school, the Court concluded that “confusion exists regarding when [school employees] are acting in their official capacity, subject to the restrictions in the consent decree and other school policies, or when they are free to act or speak in a private capacity at school events.” In a blow to the ACLU’s argument that its Consent Decree was clear, the Court further concluded that “substantial confusion exists regarding what speech or conduct is permitted during school events.”</p>
<p>A trial on the merits will occur in mid-summer. In the meantime, Judge Rodgers concluded that even though “a preliminary injunction is an extraordinary and drastic remedy,” one aspect of the Consent Decree – its attempt to prohibit school employees from fully participating in private baccalaureate events – is so flawed that it must be immediately stopped. The Court thus enjoined the School Board “from enforcing any school policy that restrains in any way an employee’s participation in, or speech or conduct during, a private religious service, including baccalaureate” pending the trial on the merits.</p>
<p>Mathew D. Staver, Founder of Liberty Counsel and Dean of Liberty University School of Law, commented: “We are thrilled that the court has halted the School District and the ACLU from violating the constitutional rights of school employees. School employees do not lose their constitutional rights as a precondition to receiving a government paycheck. The ACLU-crafted Consent Degree is outrageous and blatantly unconstitutional. It literally attempted to criminalize Christianity. We are pleased that this assault on the Constitution has been halted.”</p>

<p>HUMAN DEFINED: EARTH&#8217;S CHOICEMAKER</p>

<p>The way we define &#8216;human&#8217; determines our view of self, others, relationships, institutions, life, and future. Many problems in human experience are the result of false and inaccurate definitions of humankind premised in man-made religions and humanistic philosophies.</p>
<p>Human knowledge is a fraction of the whole universe. The balance is a vast void of human ignorance. Human reason cannot fully function in such a void; thus, the intellect can rise no higher than the criteria by which it perceives and measures values.</p>
<p>Humanism makes man his own standard of measure. However, as with all measuring systems, a standard must be greater than the value measured. Based on preponderant ignorance and an egocentric carnal nature, humanism demotes reason to the simpleton task of excuse-making in behalf of the rule of appetites, desires, feelings, emotions, &#8211; and glands.<span id="more-3213"></span></p>
<p>Because man, hobbled in an ego-centric predicament, cannot invent criteria greater than himself, the humanist lacks a predictive capability. Thus, his man-made criteria rises no higher than eyebrows &#8211; and too often, no higher than pubic hair! Without instinct or transcendent criteria, humanism cannot evaluate options with foresight and vision for progression and survival. Lacking foresight, man is blind to potential consequence and is unwittingly committed to mediocrity, collectivism, averages, and regression &#8211; and worse</p>
<p>Humanism is an unworthy worship.</p>
<p>The void of human ignorance can easily be filled with a functional faith while not-so-patiently awaiting the foot-dragging growth of human knowledge and behavior. Faith, initiated by the Creator and revealed and validated in His Word, the Bible, brings a transcendent standard to man the choice-maker. Other philosophies and religions are man-made, humanism, and thereby lack what only the Bible has:</p>
<p>1.Transcendent Criteria and</p>
<p>2.Fulfilled Prophetic Validation.</p>
<p>The vision of faith in God and His Word is survival equipment for today and the future. Only the Creator, who made us in His own image, is qualified to define us accurately.</p>
<p>Human is earth&#8217;s Choicemaker. Psalm 25:12 He is by nature and nature&#8217;s God a creature of Choice &#8211; and of Criteria. Psalm 119:30,173 His unique and definitive characteristic is, and of Right ought to be, the natural foundation of his environments, institutions, and respectful relations to his fellow-man. Thus, he is oriented to a Freedom whose roots are in the Order of the universe. selah</p>
<p>At the sub-atomic level of the physical universe quantum physics indicates a multifarious gap or division in the causal chain; particles to which position cannot be assigned at all times, systems that pass from one energy state to another without manifestation in intermediate states, entities without mass, fields whose substance is as insubstantial as &#8220;a probability.&#8221;</p>
<p>Only statistical conglomerates pay tribute to deterministic forces. Singularities do not and are therefore random, unpredictable, mutant, and in this sense, uncaused. The finest contribution inanimate reality is capable of making toward choice, without its own selective agencies, is this continuing manifestation of opportunity as the pre-condition to choice it defers to the natural action of living forms.</p>
<p>Biological science affirms that each level of life, single-cell to man himself, possesses attributes of sensitivity, discrimination, and selectivity, and in the exclusive and unique nature of each diversified life form.</p>
<p>The survival and progression of life forms has all too often been dependent upon the ever-present undeterminative potential and appearance of one unique individual organism within the whole spectrum of a given life-form. Only the uniquely equipped individual organism is, like The Golden Wedge of Ophir, capable of traversing the causal gap to survival and progression. Mere reproductive determinacy would have rendered life forms incapable of such potential.</p>
<p>Only a moving universe of opportunity plus choice enables the present reality.</p>
<p>Each individual human being possesses a unique, highly developed, and sensitive perception of variety. Thus aware, man is endowed with a natural capability for enacting internal mental and external physical selectivity. Quantitative and qualitative choice-making thus lends itself as the superior basis of an active intelligence.</p>
<p>Human is earth&#8217;s Choicemaker. His title describes his definitive and typifying characteristic. Recall that his other features are but vehicles of experience intent on the development of perceptive awareness and the following acts of decision and choice. Note that the products of man cannot define him for they are the fruit of the discerning choicemaking process and include the cognition of self, the utility of experience, the development of value measuring systems and language, and the acculturation of civilization.</p>
<p>The arts and the sciences of man, as with his habits, customs, and traditions, are the creative harvest of his perceptive and selective powers. Creativity, the creative process, is a choice-making process. His articles, constructs, and commodities, however marvelous to behold, deserve neither awe nor idolatry, for man, not his contrivance, is earth&#8217;s own highest expression of the creative process.</p>
<p>Human is earth&#8217;s Choicemaker. The sublime and significant act of choosing is, itself, the Archimedean fulcrum upon which man levers and redirects the  forces of cause and effect to an elected level of quality and diversity. Further, it orients him toward a natural environmental opportunity, freedom, and bestows earth&#8217;s paradigm title, The Choicemaker, on his singular and plural brow.</p>
<p>Deterministic systems, ideological symbols of abdication by man from his natural role as earth&#8217;s Choicemaker, inevitably degenerate into collectivism; the negation of singularity, they become a conglomerate plural-based system of measuring human value. Blunting an awareness of diversity, blurring alternatives, and limiting the selective creative process, they are self-relegated to a passive and circular regression.</p>
<p>Tampering with man&#8217;s selective nature endangers his survival for it would render him impotent and obsolete by denying the tools of variety, individuality, perception, criteria, selectivity, and progress. Coercive attempts produce revulsion, for such acts are contrary to an indeterminate nature and nature&#8217;s indeterminate off-spring, man the Choicemaker.</p>
<p>Until the oppressors discover that wisdom only just begins with a respectful</p>
<p>acknowledgment of The Creator, The Creation, and The Choicemaker, they will be ever learning but never coming to a knowledge of the truth. The rejection of Creator-initiated standards relegates the mind of man to its own primitive, empirical, and delimited devices. It is thus that the human intellect cannot ascend and function at any level higher than the criteria by which it perceives and measures values.</p>
<p>Additionally, such rejection of transcendent criteria self-denies man the vision and foresight essential to decision-making for survival and progression. He is left, instead, with the redundant wreckage of expensive hind sight, including human institutions characterized by averages, mediocrity, and regression.</p>
<p>Humanism, mired in the circular and mundane egocentric predicament, is ill-equipped to produce transcendent criteria. Evidenced by those who do not perceive superiority and thus find themselves beset by the shifting winds of the carnal-ego; i.e., moods, feelings, desires, appetites, etc., the mind becomes subordinate: a mere device for excuse-making and rationalizing self-justification.</p>
<p>The carnal-ego rejects criteria and self-discipline for such instruments are tools of the mind and the attitude. The appetites of the flesh have no need of standards for at the point of contention standards are perceived as alien, restrictive, and inhibiting. Yet, the very survival of our physical nature itself depends upon a maintained sovereignty of the mind and of the spirit.</p>
<p>It remained, therefore, to the initiative of a personal and living Creator to traverse the human horizon and fill the vast void of human ignorance with an intelligent and definitive faith. Man is thus afforded the prime tool of the intellect &#8211; a Transcendent Standard by which he may measure values in experience, anticipate results, and make enlightened and visionary choices.</p>
<p>Only the unique and superior God-man Person can deservedly displace the ego-person from his predicament and free the individual to measure values and choose in a more excellent way. That sublime Person was indicated in the words of the prophet Amos, &#8220;&#8230;said the Lord, Behold,</p>
<p>I will set a plumbline in the midst of my people Israel.&#8221; Y&#8217;shua Mashiyach Jesus said, &#8220;If I be lifted up I will draw all men unto myself.&#8221;</p>
<p>As long as some choose to abdicate their personal reality and submit to the delusions of humanism, determinism, and collectivism, just so long will they be subject and re-acting only, to be tossed by every impulse emanating from others. Those who abdicate such reality may, in perfect justice, find themselves weighed in the balances of their own choosing.</p>
<p>That human institution which is structured on the principle, &#8220;&#8230;all men are endowed by their Creator with&#8230;Liberty&#8230;,&#8221; is a system with its roots in the natural Order of the universe. The opponents of such a system are necessarily engaged in a losing contest with nature and nature&#8217;s God. biblical principles are still today the foundation under Western Civilization and the American way of life. To the advent of a new season we commend the present generation and the &#8220;multitudes in the valley of decision.&#8221;</p>
<p>Let us proclaim it. Behold!</p>

Millions of Americans feel strongly about the unrelenting attacks on Constitutional freedom, and the growing tyranny of an insatiable hunger for political power. There has been some very strong language used on both sides, but heated political debate does not incite violence in reasonable people. Likewise, the actions of a crazed individual should not be blamed on people of strong convictions on the political right or the left.</p>
<p>There are those who are calling for armed revolution in this country, and they must be condemned by all who cherish true freedom and American Constitutional government. ALL of the calls for violence and revolution I have heard over the past two years have come from people who have long embraced radical ideas from the political left. There have been very few instances of right wing radical violence, and all of them have been unanimously condemned from those on the conservative side.</p>
<p>There is a very small minority of extremists on the left and an even smaller minority on the right who would tolerate violence as a means for political change. Both those minorities must be condemned immediately, forcefully, and completely from all American.<span id="more-3099"></span></p>
<p>Let us try now to fix blame, let us all pray for our fellow citizens who are grieving over the loss and injury to their families. Let us all join in earnest prayer for our leaders. Pray for their safety, and for wisdom to seek what is right more than what is politically expedient.</p>
<p>Jesus warned us in the Sermon on the Mount (Matt. 5:11) that evil men would say bad things about us. The admonition for us included there is that we must make sure that the evil spoken of us is not true. Jesus went on to say that the light of our right conduct would demonstrate the reality of our faith, and bring glory to God (Mat. 5:16). Peter tells us in 1 Peter 2:12, to keep on letting your lifestyle be honest among unbelievers, so that your good works will bring glory to God when everything falls apart (paraphrase mine).</p>
<p>There is a narrow window of opportunity in the horrific events in Tucson. Some will use that opportunity to increase political influence. That is an evil intent that will last only briefly and then be remembered by the majority for the callous, insensitive, and selfish act that it is. The result will be greater political loss long term than anything gained for the moment.</p>
<p>I am calling on all conservatives, and particularly Bible believing Christians to seize this opportunity the way Gods Word instructs us to. Let the world see us caring. Let them see us praying. Let them seeing us loving one another, and refusing to yield to a baser, fleshly instinct to strike out when we are hurting. The lasting glow of that flame of righteousness will be what John Huss called a flame in the wind, that continues to kindle glory to God and good for all who see it.</p>

<p>Former Navy Chaplain Gordon James Klingenschmitt just read the full Pentagon report on repeal of Don&#8217;t Ask, Don&#8217;t Tell, and here&#8217;s his analysis:</p>
<p>&#8220;Don&#8217;t believe the phony liberal media reports that 70% of troops support open homosexual service, because that statistic included &#8216;mixed&#8217; feelings. A closer reading of the fine print in the newly released Pentagon survey shows our troops answered as follows:</p>
<p>Q45.  If you had a leader whom you believed was gay or lesbian, 9% positive, 91% negative or mixed effect on unit&#8217;s performance.</p>
<p>Q68c.  85% of Marine Combat Arms, 75% of Army Combat Arms, 64% overall say Negative, Very Negative, or Mixed impact on unit trust.</p>
<p>Q90.   29% would take no action if assigned open showers.  71% would shower at other times, complain to leadership or chaplains, don&#8217;t know or do &#8220;something else&#8221; [including violence.]</p>
<p><span id="more-2961"></span></p>
<p>Q81.   24% will leave the military or think about leaving sooner than planned.  [One half million troops will QUIT early, destroying national security.]</p>
<p>Q80.   6% will positively recommend service to others after repeal.  94% feel negative, mixed, no effect, or don&#8217;t know about recommending military service to others.  [Destroying recruiting efforts.]</p>
<p>Q66.  If open homosexuality impacts combat performance, is the impact&#8230;.9% positive, 91% negative or mixed impact.</p>
<p>Q71.  11% feel positive or very positive about open homosexuality in field environment or out at sea.  60% negative or mixed.  19% no effect.</p>
<p>Q73.   5% say repeal would positively boost morale.  41% say negative or mixed impact morale.  Rest no effect or don&#8217;t know.</p>
<p>&#8220;In summary, the real stats prove our nation faces a NATIONAL SECURITY DISASTER if Don&#8217;t Ask, Don&#8217;t Tell is repealed, and open homosexual aggression is forced upon our troops against their will.&#8221;</p>
<p>TAKE ACTION!  CALL THE 9 SENATORS LISTED BELOW, OR SIGN THE PETITION at www.PrayInJesusName.org which has auto-faxed 169,000 petitions to Congress opposing repeal, and defending our troops against open homosexual aggression.</p>
<p>Wa. Post lists two Republican traitors Sens. Susan Collins (R-ME, 202-224-2523) and Richard Lugar (R-IN, 202-224-4814), who each hinted they will vote to homosexualize our military if Reid allows them to attach pork barrel spending amendments for their states. That makes the whip-count 57, just three votes short of 60. Other key Senators include Olympia Snowe (R-ME, 202-224-5344), George Voinovich (R-OH, 202-224-3353), James Webb (D-VA, 202-224-4024), Mark Pryor (D-AR, 501-324-6336 and 202-224-2353), and outgoing Sen. Blanche Lincoln (D-AR, 501-375-2993 and 202-224-4843) who have all waffled on the issue.  Also new Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV, 202-224-3954) was just seated, and incoming Sen. Mark Kirk (R-IL, 202-224-2854) was seated on Tuesday, so please call both today to please FILIBUSTER AND VOTE AGAINST repeal of Don&#8217;t Ask, Don&#8217;t Tell. There&#8217;s the list.   Eleven phone calls.  How many can you call this morning?</p>
<p>Retiring Marine Commandant General James Conway just told Fox News that &#8220;90 to 95 percent of the Marines&#8221; are against repeal of Don&#8217;t Ask, Don&#8217;t Tell, citing impromptu surveys he had conducted by a &#8220;show of hands&#8221; at town hall meetings.</p>
<p>Sen. John McCain told CNN the troop poll was biased for homosexuals: &#8220;it should have asked whether a policy change was the right thing to do, rather than how it should be implemented&#8230;I want to know the effect on battle effectiveness and morale, not on how best to implement a change in policy&#8230;I don&#8217;t think that&#8217;s a lot to ask when we have our young men and women out there serving and fighting, and tragically some of them dying.&#8221;  Sen. McCain is leading a filibuster attempt, and with liberal Republican Sen. Mark Kirk (R-IL, (202-224-2854) being seated Monday, his vote is critical to pass or fail the gay agenda. Let&#8217;s take action to help our troops this week&#8230;</p>
<p>The homosexual newspaper Washington Blade is boasting of a claim by Sen. Joseph Liberman (I-CT) who said &#8220;I am confident that we have more than 60 votes prepared to take up the defense authorization bill with the repeal of &#8216;Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell&#8217; if only there will be a guarantee of a fair and open amendment process.&#8221;  Lieberman revealed some private conversations he&#8217;s had with Republican Senators Susan Collins (RINO-ME) and Richard Lugar (RINO-IN), and unnamed &#8220;other&#8221; Republicans [we list them below] whom he quoted as saying  they &#8220;would be open to moving forward with&#8230;repeal provided there’s an &#8216;open amendment process&#8217; in bringing the bill to the floor.&#8221;  [In other words, they'll sell out their principles for homosexual pork money.]  I count 57, he counts 60, we&#8217;re in a dogfight.</p>
<p>The new Commandant of the Marine Corps, 4-star General James F. Amos, effectively asked YOU to help his Marines last week, when he advised Senators to support Senator McCain&#8217;s filibuster of the repeal of &#8220;Don&#8217;t Ask, Don&#8217;t Tell,&#8221; and to keep open homosexual aggression out of our military.</p>
<p>&#8220;There is nothing more intimate than young men and young women — and when you talk of infantry, we&#8217;re talking our young men — laying out, sleeping alongside of one another and sharing death, fear and loss of brothers,&#8221; said General Amos. &#8220;I don&#8217;t know what the effect of that will be on cohesion. I mean, that’s what we’re looking at. It&#8217;s unit cohesion, it&#8217;s combat effectiveness.&#8221;  In other words, repealing Don&#8217;t Ask will cost lives in battle.</p>
<p>Meanwhile the New York Times revealed Senator Harry Reid&#8217;s (D-NV) new strategy to force the homosexual agenda through this lame-duck Senate:  &#8220;Mr. Reid could try to bring the defense bill to the floor under an open amendment process, a move that Republicans presumably would not block but that would mean committing a large block of time to debate. In that case, opponents of repeal would not be able to pass an amendment stripping it out of the bill.&#8221;  In other words, don&#8217;t believe the liberal press reports that Reid can&#8217;t get this done&#8230;.they are closer than you think, so we must continue this fight.</p>
<p>More than 60 retired military chaplains have written President Obama, requesting he not repeal the 1993 Don&#8217;t Ask, Don&#8217;t Tell law that forbids open homosexuality in the military, because allowing open homosexuality will cause anti-Christian persecution of chaplains.</p>
<p>The letter was signed by retired military chaplains from various denominational backgrounds, including Southern Baptists, Episcopalians, Presbyterians and Lutherans.</p>
<p>After Don&#8217;t Ask is repealed, &#8220;if chaplains answer such questions [during counseling sessions] according to the tenets of their faith, stating that homosexual relationships are sinful and harmful, then they run the risk of career-ending accusations of insubordination and discrimination,&#8221; the letter said.</p>
<p>&#8220;By raising homosexual behavior to the same protected status as innate, innocuous characteristics like race and gender, the armed forces will cast the sincerely held religious beliefs of many chaplains and Service members as rank bigotry comparable to racism,&#8221; the letter said.</p>
<p>&#8220;Put most simply, if the government normalizes homosexual behavior in the armed forces, many (if not most) chaplains will confront a profoundly difficult moral choice: whether they are to obey God or to obey men,&#8221; the letter said. &#8220;This forced choice must be faced, since orthodox Christianity &#8212; which represents a significant percentage of religious belief in the armed forces &#8212; does not affirm homosexual behavior.</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s help defend our military chaplains today&#8230;</p>
<p>Four Top Generals were ignored by Democrats who betrayed our troops.  They said:</p>
<p>&#8220;This is not the time to perturb the force that is, at the moment, stretched by demands in Iraq  and Afghanistan and elsewhere without careful deliberation.&#8221;  Gen. Norton Schwartz, Air Force Chief of Staff</p>
<p>&#8220;Serious concerns about the impact of repeal of the law on a force that&#8217;s fully engaged in two wars and has been at war for eight-and-a-half years.&#8221;  Gen. George Casey, Army Chief of Staff</p>
<p>&#8220;I think the current policy works&#8230; At this point&#8230;my best military advice to this Committee, to the [Defense] Secretary, and to the President would be to keep the law such as it is.&#8221;  Gen. James Conway, Commandant of the U.S. Marine Corps</p>
<p>&#8220;There has never really been an assessment of the force that serves&#8230;.Equally important are the feelings of the families that support that force.&#8221; Adm. Gary Roughead, Chief of Naval Operations</p>
<p>WHY KEEP OPEN HOMOSEXUALITY OUT OF THE MILITARY?</p>
<p>Four reasons:  1) Allowing open homosexuality especially hurts unit cohesion and would cost American lives in war, damaging the trust shared in close proximity, common sleeping quarters and showering facilities that are unavoidable in close combat.  2) Men and women do not share the same showers for obvious reasons, so why force men to share showers with openly homosexual men?  This fact alone would hurt recruiting.  3) The rampant spread of the HIV-AIDS virus contaminates the blood often shared by necessity on the battlefield.  Soldiers requiring blood-transfusions and medics would be immediately endangered.  4) &#8220;Gay promotion quotas&#8221; would soon be forced upon presently impartial promotion boards, causing a burdensome rise in sexually-charged &#8220;equal opportunity&#8221; complaints against commanders, especially those who offend gays by inadvertently speaking of their traditional Judeo-Christian faith.</p>
