The “Gay” Siege of the Church, Part 2

Abraham interceded for G-d to avert the destruction of Sodom on the strength of his righteousness and his generational covenant with G-d (Genesis 18: 16-19). Within the process of his bargaining the Lord agreed to not destroy the city, if He could find 10 righteous people that were not contaminated by the prevalent sin of the city; homosexuality.

For me, there is the immediate temptation to show the spiritual significance of the number ten as the perfection of divine order, this we see from: the 10 commandments; the 10 clauses of the Lord’s prayer; our tithe of 10 percent; and Abraham’s 10 trials. But, what is more significant here is the fact that by the time these angels reached Lot’s home in Sodom, the flames of homosexuality had engulfed the city.

Not only could they not find 10 righteous people to save the city, but the sodomites of the city wanted to rape the holy angels (Genesis 19:5). Lot went out to try and reason with the sodomites not to do the wicked thing that they desired with his guests, but they were so consumed with their passion that they could not hear the voice of reason:

Genesis 19:10- 11: But the men inside reached out and pulled Lot back into the house and shut the door. 11. Then they struck the men who were at the door of the house, young and old, with blindness so that they could not find the door.

One of the strongholds of demonic sin is the blindness that engulfs the sinner with the inability to respect or see the door of hope or salvation. Reading history it is amazing to see how we (mankind) can repeat the errors of our past and yet expect a different result (That is a good description of being foolish).

In prophesying unto the “last days” Yeshua revealed that the world would be in a pattern of duplication with regards to our old, sin habits and our inability to find the door of hope and salvation:

Matthew 24:38: For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

With Noah’s ark the window/ door of grace could have been as much as a century since he was 500 years old when first given his divine instructions and 600 years old when he sailed.

Members, I have received a phenomenal amount of feedback from part one of this series on homosexuality, and I feel it imperative to first of all let you know that there is hope for those that are faced with children that are struggling with this stronghold in their lives. Or, that may be struggeling with this stronghold themselves.

The door of hope and deliverance may be difficult for some to see because of the silence of many in the church to fully address homosexuality as a sickness, and as such it falls under the same category of illness that can be made whole:

Isaiah 53:5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Even if we advance the argument that some children seem to be born genetically pre-disposed to be being effeminate or homosexual, once we see homosexuality and being effeminate as a sickness (1Corinthians 6:9), then healing is still the order of the day. With babies that are born addicted to crack cocaine because of their mother’s drug use, doctors do not solve the problem by continuously feeding the addiction, they break the addiction to free the baby.

In part one of this article, I also discussed how the sodomites of our present time have strategically organized themselves to wield great political strength.

Personally, I am proud to say that two men that I call Uncle were knighted by the Queen for their brave national stands against the injustices of discrimination. I have marched with both of them and was also proud to report on them as a journalist. But, we have to be careful not to allow the banner of civil rights to be hijacked by people that do not belong under its cover.

The global politics of tolerance has created a banner of civil rights under which radical gays and militant Islamist are now covering. When the “civil rights” generation locked arms to heartily sing the songs of the movement, that which energized them was their purpose to overcome the inequality of the socio-political system, which gave preferential treatment based on race. While we are commanded to love the sinner, this is a love that should lead them to change and not to the acceptance and legalization of their immorality.

Militant Islamist also attempt to hide under the rightfully, proud banner of civil rights, while they plot a dubious agenda (but that is a different message for a later time).

“As it was in the beginning, so shall it be in the end,” these words are the inference of Yeshua (Matthew 24:38). Yeshua is prophesying here to the “end time” season because the anti-Christ that shall arise will oppose the theological soundness of the gospel to the point where the very elect might even be deceived (Matthew 24:24; 1Timothy 4:1).

One of the Bible’s riddles is how we can say that G-d, “the Father” has no sexual gender but yet we still refer to Him with the masculine pronoun of “Father”? Simply put, G-d the Father does not have a sexual gender as we define it, since “He” exists in spirit. But, the seed of procreation must come from a masculine source and G-d is the Creator of everything that exists (Isaiah 44:24).

Within the creation of G-d there is also the nurture of G-d. Nurturing is often an attribute that has chauvinistically been assigned to motherhood and this error has caused the destruction of many families and for many sons to be raised starved for the love of their fathers. For too long our fathers have been excused from this necessary process of parenting but G-d calls for us to take our rightful role:

Ephesians 6:4: And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

While I am not saying that women cannot start a great work, within the regular process of God, it takes the divine and apostolic seed of G-d to initiate creation but the nurturing love of Jesus and the Holy Spirit for maturity to take place. Yeshua expressed this nurturing love when considering the rebellion of Israel:

Luke 13: 34: O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!

It is within the cohesive operation of The Holy Trinity that we see the operation of both feminine and masculine attributes that are inseparable within His divine nature, but distinctly and deliberately separate within mankind:

Genesis 1:27: So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

Satan has always been purposed for the destruction of the seed (Gen 3:15) and one of the greatest ways for him to do it is by the confusion of the genders, as we see with the Wiccans and other cultic religions whose supreme being is called the goddess.

It is not long now until the anti-Christ is revealed. When he shall come he will not only be diametrically opposed to the soundness of the Gospel, but to the nature of God himself as the Prophet Daniel reveals that he shall be a homosexual:

Daniel 11:37: Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.

This anti-Christ spirit has already been released.

The Book of Revelation also clearly shows us that in the last days the spirit of homosexuality will be rampant when the end time witnesses shall come and be murdered:

Revelation 11:8: And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

There is the inevitability of the fulfillment of Bible Prophecy, with regards to the fullness of the sin of men. So, it makes no sense feeling hopeless as we see things around us getting worse. I believe that there may well be a time to march in protestation, as we seek to spur our leaders to make righteous national choices, but our foremost purpose should always be to shine the light of the Gospel of love, truth and hope:

Malachi 4:2 (NIV): But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings. And you will go out and leap like calves released from the stall.
