We Are At War

We are at war…you and I at this very moment are at war. The definition of “war”, according to Webster’s Dictionary:

”a state of hostility, conflict, or antagonism/ a struggle or competition between opposing forces for a particular end”

Make no mistake, that while we are not fighting with armaments, we are still in a very real battle – the fight to protect our God-given and Constitutional rights as American citizens.

When a person or group resolves to take freedoms previously set forth by our founding fathers and then to also institute unwanted/unwarranted “changes” to our way of life…patriots will fight.

When a person or group flagrantly robs our nation of a healthy economy, spending OUR money (and worse, printing money to spend nonsensically, causing our currency to be essentially worthless) – a national debt so monumental that our great-grandchildren are ensured to STILL be paying it…patriots will fight.

When a person or group determines to dictate to us who we shall seek to provide services for ourselves and our family – health care, for starters…patriots will fight.

When a person or group determines to replace “In God We Trust” with “Look to the Government for Answers” and “Be Beholding to Your Government”…THIS IS WAR.

Regardless of what the liberal mainstream news and other media sources like to portray, we, the patriotic people of the United States, most definitely have the “numbers” needed to win this war. We are an enormous and ever-increasing collective group of citizens who have the heart and mindset to win this battle against tyrannical, liberal crooks in Congressional clothing. We also have the most powerful “weapon” needed to win…we have faith and abiding love in God – we “fight” to defend Him from those who say, “America is not a Christian nation”.

“Therefore do not let a person place or thing trouble you, for the Eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. He will drive out your enemy before you saying, ‘Destroy him!’” (Deuteronomy 33:27)

On December 29, 2009, when former Vice-President Dick Cheney said, “Obama pretends we are not at war…”, he was mistaken. Obama knows VERY WELL we’re at war, but the war he is most assuredly interested in and aware of is the battle HE has waged on the American people. Barack Obama couldn’t care less about our brave men and women in our armed forces who are in harm’s way in Afghanistan, Iraq and elsewhere around the world because he’s more interested in “changing” the United States of America…in dismantling our Constitution – our Bill of Rights – and taking control of every aspect of American life.

The “stage” has been set and the world is watching…the “curtains opened” January 20, 2009, when Barack Obama was sworn in as the 44th President of the United States of America. Each “scene” starring Obama unfolds to portray his clandestine, diabolical and yes, cerebral machinations of his “hope and change” strategy to destroy the United States as we know it.

The world watched Obama bow down to other nation’s leaders while simultaneously apologizing for the United States…a seemingly innocuous thing to do, after all, he was just showing respect for those nation’s customs and wanted to show the world that he wasn’t going to let those nasty Americans bully other countries around any more.

The world watched as a dirt-bag Islamic terrorist murdered innocent people at Ft. Hood and then was told by Obama that we “must not jump to conclusions” about this act. Hmmmm, it’s probably all those nasty American bullies’ fault that Maj. Nidal Hasan (a devout Muslin who had posted lovely Internet sentiments comparing Islamic suicide bombers to Japanese kamikaze pilots, saying “he is a brave hero that sacrificed his life for a more noble cause’) shot and killed innocent Americans.

The world watched while Obama quickly signed Executive Orders to close Gitmo and to ensure the “lawful interrogation” of terrorists and criminals of war while working at the same time to bring the 9/11 mastermind Khalid Shaikh Mohammed (and four other “alleged” co-conspirators) to New York to stand trial. Are you kidding me?!?! Thanks, Mr. Obama, for giving this victory to terrorists who thrive on having a platform for maligning our country and our people – and to top it off, for bringing them to the very city where their murdering attack occurred! Seems to me, OUR President would be more interested in honoring the innocent thousands killed by the 9/11 attacks on American soil and not worrying about injustices meted out to KSM and his cohorts.

The world watched Obama strutting like a peacock for the cameras (“look at me golfing”, “look at me playing basketball”, “look at me having beer with a white cop who I pretty much accused of being a racist for doing his job”, “look at me standing in front of all these military folks”, “look at me having parties at the White House”, “look at me flying off to Copenhagen to bring the Olympics to Chicago”, “look at me…look at me…look at me”.) Where has all that posturing gotten him and to what purpose was it done? Let’s just say, Obama’s ego is HUGE and he flourishes like a Dung Beetle on dog poop when the cameras are clicking away at his mug. He’s pimping Americans out to every two-bit thug in the world, in essence, whoring us out to our enemies, with the bottom line motivator being his own self-glorification.

Scene after disgusting scene has unfolded, sending a very clear message to those who would do Americans harm…”come on over and have at ‘em”. The world knows that Obama doesn’t have any steel in his spine and is a pandering, posturing egotist who is, in layman’s terms, full of crap as evidenced with the latest attempt at terrorism against the United States by Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab who attempted to detonate a bomb on Northwest Flight 253 on our country’s holiest of days – Christmas Day. Come on over, Obama and his cronies will most assuredly make sure you terrorists’ rights are protected and the liberal media will give you your microphone, so murder away.

As the world has watched each and every smack in the face to the American people by our very own President and his administration, those of us being “smacked” have watched…and we have awakened. We will not sit quietly and allow the destruction of our country…we will fight this “war” and we will win.

There are several avenues that we can take to become involved…ensuring the election of conservative candidates who remember that they are Americans first and a “party member” second; candidates who – through their actions – have shown that they are committed to upholding the Constitution to ensure each of us the opportunity for a better and prosperous tomorrow; candidates that will serve the people and not special interests; candidates who not only denounce failed policies, but have goals and a plan for a better solution to the myriad of hot button issues facing our country. Get involved with one of these candidate’s campaigns…help them to become elected this November.

I also encourage you to join The Heritage Foundation (www.askheritage.org). There is a wealth of information with this group…knowledge is power.

Attend rallies. Let our numbers speak. We are dignified, patriotic Americans and we must join together.

Do not be timid or worried about speaking out. If you have the opportunity to discuss current events/issues, do so…remember, even if just one person out of the crowd “wakes up” and sees what is happening in our country – happening to us – then that is one more person joining us in this fight.

When I see my future alone, I’m simply dreaming…when I share with others, I’ve begun creating reality.

Let’s create the reality of our America, the “limited-government, stop-taxing-us-to-extinction, stop-spending-our-money, no-government-bailouts, no-government-controlled-health-care, free-enterprise, individual-freedom, traditional-American-values, God-fearing, and strong-national-defense America” of our forefathers.
