It is just that the other major party has taken views that are completely antithetical to many Christian values, such as the sanctity of life, the value of the individual and the deviant nature of homosexuality. The Republican Party has been the vehicle for pursuing these values up to this time. Should this change, this block of concerned and active citizens may well be found in another venue exercising their influence. It should be noted that Christians are not, and neither should they be, tied to the Republican Party.
