Strategy for Pro-Life Candidates

We Christians have an uphill battle for Life. We need to cut the legs out from Government Spending that has usurped commerce, charity and the individuals rights and responsabilities.

As such Pro-Life candidates have to go after the subsidies, grants and tax credits that make life uncompetitive.

Government growth fuels donations to encumbents and makes pro-life candidates David to their Goliath. I suggest candidates aggressively go against the Land Bill, Stimulus, 2nd part of TARP, SCHIP expansion, additional educational funding and propose free markets. When government is both providor and overseer the student, patient, consumer and taxpayer are of secondary importance.

We need government to be an honest “broker” that provides and competitive environment for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Hence we must look to way to remove uncompetitive advantage.

We should go after government abortion funding AND other health services. These should be regulated by government but engaged only by the private sectors of business and charity and individuals who manage their own risks in the market.

This accomodates a health and hospice safety net.

Pro-lifers should support school choice funding only income qualified “free Head Start to University so parents may send their child to ANY accredted school their child can get into. If we privatized Head Start to University and remove anti
competitive subsidies, we CAN teach our children what we consider a comprehensive education of the mind, body and spirit.

This revives the christian underpinning we need to diminish abortion as an attractive alternative. When our hands aren’t tied behind our back fiscally, faith can compete.

If we remove abortion subsidies, the cost of a child’s birth comes closer to that of an abortion. If we remove gov’t and remake a competitive health market midwives can compete with hospitals and we bring birth into competitive range.

If Emily’s List wants to give to Planned Parenthood, they currently can.. though we recommend to your supporters to support charities that support life that empowers pregnant women to carry their rights and responsabilities consistently, ever improving to leverage any talents they have to support themselves and their child.

If we remove all government R & D of embryonic, non-embryonic solutions will be more heavily invested in and come quicker and cheaper to the market.

If we allow children knowledge of their biological heritage on birth certificates, eliminating egg and sperm donation anomyninity, donation drys up except for parties known to each other.

This then promotes a life of natural consequences in life choices and the natural incentives of family can compete with alternative life styles.

So, first things first, cut the legs out from under the machine and make our Representatives compete with us.
