Propaganda is force!

[Ed. note: It is the absolute right of the state to supervise the
formation of public opinion. Joseph Goebbels]
Propaganda can be words and phrases that collectivize and mold the public mind so that
subtle or overt force is made easier or becomes unnecessary.
Carefully chosen words by the establishment are the basis of mass mind control leading
to acceptance of force. Until the people accept collectivism under some pretext, they are
not docile and completely subdued.
But, Bob, you say, you have written this before. Well, a whole volume could easily be
written demonstrating the twisting and distortion of words and phrases along with outright
lies to manipulate the public mind. Really, few people escape this psychological warfare.
Words are created and repeated, which expands the collective psyche to accept and repeat
some more. People who freely use those terms are not in control of their own thinking process.
Following are some examples of establishment words and phrases used as propaganda:

Terrorism With Apologies To Islam
Posted on September 28 - from Tea Party Nation
[Ed. note: These are the words of a Supreme Court justice displaying the
bias she was hired to push on the nation.]
On Thursday, Alton Nolen committed an act of terrorism in middle America as he beheaded
a woman and stabbed another at a Vaughan Foods processing plant in Moore, Oklahoma.
On Friday the mainstream media decided to report it and in typical fashion by
whitewashing and outright omitting the fact that Nolen had converted to Islam and was
attempting to convert others working at the plant.
As our press no longer reports on these facts its important to “watch for the spin, the
denial, and the obfuscation of yet another jihad attack in the U.S.“, states
counter-terrorism expert Robert Spencer.
Noting how the media initially reacts is imperative to understanding how our press
develops its narrative regarding terrorism.
Spencer also notes to “watch for stories about how Oklahoma Muslims are afraid of
backlash. Watch for the coming mainstream media reports about how the Vaughan Foods plant
was rife with Islamaphobia. Not that this has anything to do with Islam, and of course it
is not terrorism”.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg: Poor People Should Have Abortions, Not Children
Posted on September 26 - from LifeNews
[Ed. note: These are the words of a Supreme Court justice displaying the
bias she was hired to push on the nation.]
The headline for this article may seem controversial, but that’s another way to state
the pro-abortion views Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg spouts in a new interview.
“It makes no sense as a national policy to promote birth only among poor people,” Ginsburg
says.
This isn’t the first time she’s sounded in favor of eugenics. Ginsburg caused a stir in
July 2009 when she made comments about the Roe v. Wade abortion case that appeared racist.
In an interview with the New York Times, Ginsburg said made it appear she supported Roe for
population control reasons targeting minorities.
Roe is the 1973 Supreme Court decision that, along with Doe v. Bolton, allowed virtually
unlimited abortions for any reason throughout pregnancy.

Local use of surveillance equipment deserves same scrutiny as militarized police
Posted on September 25 - from Personal Liberty
[Ed. note: Some appropriate handwringing from a leftist writer over a topic
that should concern all of us.]
Since the police shooting of Michael Brown and the response in the streets,
militarization of the police, especially with surplus military hardware like armored
vehicles, has been a hot topic, both in the news and in Congress. And that’s a good thing.
But the equipment we can see on the news isn’t the only thing flowing from our military
to local cops. Alongside armored vehicles and guns, local police are getting surveillance
technology with help from the federal government. And while we don’t know the full contours
of that aid, what we do know is worrisome and should spur further scrutiny, both locally and
nationally.
The risks of militarizing the local cops are easy to see — and they’re compounded by
folding local law enforcement into homeland security. Military technology, and suspicionless
mass surveillance, are based on a military mindset: Everyone is a possible enemy, and no one
deserves privacy. While some lawmakers justify this shift by pointing to the “war on drugs”
and “the war on terror,” the United States is not technically a war zone. This raises the
specter of the Posse Comitatus Act, passed in the late 1800s to prevent use of the military
in domestic law enforcement.

You are owned.
You are someone else’s unearned possession.
You are the controlled commodity of sinful, self-serving men and women.
And so am I.
We are in the same camp together.
We are slaves to the same masters.
This is inescapably true for the most obvious of reasons; so obvious and so painful that
we can barely stand to take a serious glance at the facts, much less a hard stand to address
them.
The painful, obvious reality in question is this: The “money” that you and I have been
conditioned and programmed to spend our very lives coveting, pursuing, and protecting, is
a fictional construct crafted by others out of thin air.
We arrange our lives, spend our time, and sacrifice many responsibilities necessary to
the creation and preservation of healthy relationships, families and cultures in pursuit of
paper or digits on a computer that we have been propagandized into believing are of actual,
objective value, when nothing could be further from the truth.

Behold The, "Moderate Muslim"
Posted on September 22 - from Tea Party Nation
[Ed. note: They young "moderate muslim" calmly answers that David
Horowitz should be killed. As Earl Pitts would say "wake up America!"]
UC San Diego holds a week long festival of Jew Hatred every year, lovingly called,
"Israel Apartheid Week." The Muslim Student Association, one of the groups officially
listed by the Department of Justice as an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land
Foundation Terror Funding Case and subsequent trial, and was proven in that same document
to be a member constituency of the Muslim Brotherhood, hosts the event every year. The
entire purpose of the event is to whip up Antisemitism amongst their fellow students,
recruit students to join International Solidarity Movement or other such fine upstanding
groups who will travel to Israel and help commit acts of terror against Israel or in other
parts of the world. (Rachel, "speed bump," Corrie was recruited in such a fashion from
Evergreen College in Olympia,Washington.) During this week, The Young Americans for Freedom
will host several of its own speakers to counter the narrative. Usually, these speeches are
marred by loud disruptions, attempted violence, and basically every other tactic of the
left we've come to know and love over the years. Fortunately, this is not David Horowitz's
first such encounter. Just like the grizzled veteran comic, Horowitz knows how to handle
hecklers, and coaxes this particular one, our, "Moderate Muslim," into making a stark
admission of rare truth during the ensuing Q and A. Let's give it a listen. (By the way,
our, "Moderate Muslim," is sporting a mighty fine looking Keffiyeh.)
Horowitz: ...I'm a Jew. The head of Hezbollah has said that he hopes that we, (Jews,)
all gather in Israel so that he doesn't have to hunt us down globally. (Are you,) For it
or against it?
Moderate Muslim: For it.
The documentation of the Department of Justice showing the MSA to be a political arm of
the Muslim Brotherhood goes all the way back to a meeting in the apartment of Fawaz Damra in
Philadelphia way back in 1994. Damra, who has since been deported thanks to the increased
authority granted by the Patriot Act to follow these, "Moderates," about the place as they
set themselves to the task of political jihad. By the time of 9/11, Damra had become the Imam
of a Mosque in Parma, Ohio, considered to be one of those, "Moderates," that our local FBI
liked to use for their go to sensitivity trainer. According to documents filed with the court,
the political jihad included CAIR, (Council on American Islamic Relations,) ISNA, (Islamic
Society of North America,) and MSA, (Muslim Student Association,) among other groups.

Obamacare Rationing Czar Ezekiel Emmanuel: We Should Die at 75
Posted on September 20 - from Life News
[Ed. note: Typical of liberal progressive thinking... if they thinks
something is right for them, they are willing to impose it on everyone..]
Ezekiel Emmanuel is one of the nation’s premier Obamacarians. He has the president’s
ear. He is for health care rationing. And now, he wants us to die at 75.
He doesn’t put it quite like that, writing in the first person. But make no mistake:
That is his essential message. From, “Why I Hope to Die at 75,” in The Atlantic:
Here is a simple truth that many of us seem to resist: living too long is also a loss.
It renders many of us, if not disabled, then faltering and declining, a state that may not
be worse than death but is nonetheless deprived.
It robs us of our creativity and ability to contribute to work, society, the world. It
transforms how people experience us, relate to us, and, most important, remember us. We are
no longer remembered as vibrant and engaged but as feeble, ineffectual, even pathetic.

Liberated Women and Traditional Marriage
Posted on September 19 - from Tea Party Nation
[Ed. note: It’s not about their right to vote or to secure an education
to achieve success in the business sector. It’s about generations of young men and women
growing up in a society where a “father” is not an integral part of the “family” and the
price our society pays for that.]
My generation, born in the late 1930s and the 1940s, has witnessed a dramatic change in
the role and the rights of women in America. A significant result of the women’s liberation
movement is a change in the role of traditional marriage that was reported in early
September.
“If you count a generation as spanning 20 years,” wrote Terence P. Jeffery, an editor of
CNSnews.com, “then approximately 36 percent of the American generation born from 1993
through 2012—which has begun turning 21 this year and will continue turning 21 through
2033—were born to unmarried mothers.”
By comparison, Jeffrey noted that “Back in 1940, only 3.8 percent of American babies were
born to unmarried mothers. By 1960, it was still only 5.3 percent.” There was a time when
being a single mother was regarded as a reflection of the woman’s moral values. How a
society deals with issues affecting the family as its single most important factor
reflects its attitudes regarding marriage.

The Real Sickness At The Heart Of American Culture’

People don't like to talk about America's culture for the same reason that a man who just

knows what he's doing is killing him, but it's easier not to deal with it. We’re in the same
boat.
* We treat success as an accident or a cheat while defending people who make bad decisions,
who won't educate themselves or who won't work.
* We've allowed pornography to become so accessible that it's practically universally viewed,

* We celebrate losers and deviants by giving them their own reality shows. Meanwhile,
Hollywood regularly portrays businessmen, Christians and soldiers as the worst people on earth.
* Americans across the spectrum are being encouraged to separate themselves off from the
larger culture and nurse grievances that barely would have been given a thought a few
decades ago.

The response was appropriate:
Rep. Kevin Brady (R-Texas), who leads the subcommittee, immediately expressed his concern

Why Obama’s use of the term ISIL instead of ISIS is actually really important
Posted on September 13 - from the Blaze
[Ed. note: Words actually do mean things... and we can learn a lot if we
listen to what people say.]
ISIL. ISIS. IS. DAISH. You have probably heard each one of those acronyms at least once
over the last several months as the media and politicians attempt to determine the best way
to refer to the terror group that declared a caliphate spanning Syria and Iraq.
IS simply stands for the Islamic State, while ISIS stands for the Islamic State of Iraq
and Syria. ISIL is the acronym for the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, which seems
remarkably similar to ISIS. The differentiation between the word ‘Syria’ and the word
‘Levant’ is actually quite significant, however, given the usage of the term by President
Obama and his administration.
“ISIS and ISIL. The President is making a big deal out of this is ISIL, right? The
Administration wants to call it ISIL,” Glenn said on radio this morning. “Stu, what’s the
difference between ISIS and ISIL?” “Interesting fact about the Levant,” Stu responded.
“[It] encompasses parts of Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, and a place called Israel.”

Federal judge envisions 'rape license' for 'right to rape'
Posted on September 13 - from World Net Daily
[Ed. note: The secular progressive concept of utility as opposed any form
of tradition and morality carries a price that that falls most heavily on the innocent.]
Judge Richard Posner, a federal judge with the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals, recently
become a hero to the pro-”gay marriage” left when, by way of a “legal analysis” free from
the troublesome constraints of logic, case precedent, biology, tradition and reality in
general, he managed to somehow divine a long-hidden constitutional “right” for two dudes
to get “married.” “How can tradition be a reason for anything?” an incredulous Posner
demanded last month of attorneys defending marriage protection amendments in both Wisconsin
and Indiana.
It would seem that Posner’s contempt for tradition extends to all things sexual, up to
and including the puritanical presupposition that it’s always wrong for a man to rape a
woman. This idea, according to Posner in his 2011 book “Economic Analysis of the Law” (8th
edition), is evidently an equally archaic tradition that, like the institution of natural
marriage, needs a significant overhaul.
Posner’s suggestion? Perhaps it’s time the government begin issuing “rape licenses” (I
kid you not) since, and based upon an exclusively utilitarian and morally relative
cost-benefit analysis, the “right to rape,” for some men at least, “exceeds the victim’s
physical and emotional pain.”

Who Killed Joan Rivers?

Writing for Breitbart.com, John Nolte showed more perspicacity than almost anyone I’ve
seen relative to the unexpected death of comedian Joan Rivers. Nolte wrote:
“With the death of Joan Rivers at 81 Thursday, we lost one more icon in a dwindling
breed: the comedian who does not seek the good opinion of the powerful media and
entertainment elite.
“Just two months before her death, Rivers mocked President Obama as ‘gay’ and First Lady
Michelle Obama as a ‘tranny,’ and caught hell for it from the likes of the Huffington Post.
Those servants to power chided: ‘Rivers took her “jokes” too far yet again this week, when
she hurled a trans slur at the first lady.’”
Nolte continued: “Now Rivers is gone and outside of a handful of comedic insurgents like
Don Rickles, Dennis Miller, and Adam Carolla, we're stuck with Politically Correct Palace
Guards like Jon Stewart, Sarah Silverman, Stephen Colbert, Tina Fey, Will Ferrell, Lena
Dunham, Ricky Gervais, the cast of ‘Saturday Night Live,’ and pretty much everyone
associated with Funny or Die--all big government-loving cowards desperate to fit into a
comedic class that believes political correctness is a virtue and those who buck it should
be held up to ridicule.”

Mob Rule Economics

[Ed. note: As for a "living wage," the employer is not hiring people in
order to acquire dependents and become their meal ticket. He is hiring them for what they
produce.]
While we talk about democracy and equal rights, we seem increasingly to let both private
and government decisions be determined by mob rule. There is nothing democratic about mob
rule. It means that some people's votes are to be overruled by other people's disruptions,
harassments and threats.
The latest examples are the mobs in the streets in cities across the country, demanding
that employers pay a minimum wage of $15 an hour, or else that the government makes them do
so by law. Some of the more gullible observers think the issue is whether what some people
are making now is "a living wage." This misconstrues the whole point of hiring someone to do
work. Those who are being hired are paid for the value of the work they do.
If their work is really worth more than what their employer is paying them, all they have to
do is quit and go work for some other employer, who will pay them what their work is really worth.
If they can't find any other employer who will pay them more, then what makes them think their
work is worth more?

All manner of security measures -- liberty restrictions in the name of protecting liberty

that the United States has not experienced a major terrorist attack since then.
Which, given the following tale, is nothing less than a miracle.

The Anti-Christian President in a Post-Christian America
Posted on September 10 - from the Truth Dispatch
[Ed. note: It's been obvious to anyone who has been paying attention... why
he even had an anti-Christian pastor.]
Former Governor and Presidential candidate Mitt Romney says that President Barack Obama
is out of touch on global issues. Conventional wisdom would indicate that Governor Romney
is correct about President Obama’s response to the Islamic State. Claiming that President
Obama is out of touch on global issues might be true, but it is a narrow view of President
Obama’s foreign policy blunders.
When President Obama was first elected, he globetrotted all around the world on an
apology tour to apologize to the Muslim world for America’s alleged injustices against
them. Since then, and during President Obama’s presidency, persecution and mass murder of
Christians at the hands of radical Muslim Jihadists has been on the rise. The latest
fascist antics and attacks by the Islamic State are the most recent attacks against
Christians.
How did President Obama respond to the Islamic State’s genocide of Christians? There was
no real response of solidarity with the Christians from President Obama. When the genocide of
Christians escalated, eventually leading to the beheading of two American journalists, the pressure
has become too great to ignore. However, President Obama gives a brief pro-Christian statement, but
focuses his entire responses to stand in solidarity with the so-called “moderate” Muslims.

A Swift Solution to Washington Gridlock: Abolish the Senate
Posted on September 9 - from the Federalist
[Ed. note: ... or we could just repeal the 17th Amendment.]
If political celebrity is your thing, there’s no better club to get into than the United
States Senate, the equivalent of Hollywood, Harvard, and the Hall of Fame rolled into one.
Sure, everyone suspects that your true sights are set on the presidency, but since for most
the criticism is true, it’s easy to feign innocence and not take offense.
Every now and then, however, someone becomes a United States senator because he is truly
interested in performing the constitutional duties of a senator. One such person is Tom
Coburn, the retiring senator from Oklahoma, which means his suggestion last week that he’d
be open to the idea of an Article V convention to take on the nation’s challenges is that
much more significant.
Coburn told the congressional weekly The Hill, “I think [George] Mason was prophetic that we
would devolve to where the federal government became too powerful, too big, and too unwieldy.
That’s why he put Article V in.” Senator Coburn, who, according to the article, “has grown
disenchanted with gridlock in Washington,” suggested that approving constitutional amendments
creating term limits, mandating a balanced budget, and re-asserting legislative prerogatives
would allow the federal government to function properly again.

Fear of man

[Ed. note: The fear of man brings a snare… Proverbs 29:25]
All throughout history terrorists of many nationalities and many religious backgrounds
have used fear to overcome those they seek to annihilate. In the 20th century the images of
German concentration camps reeked with fear so palatable that it can still be felt in
decades old film clips. Unfortunately, the inhumanity of man against man is nothing new.
As long as man occupies this earth, you can be sure that those seeking to conquer others
through persecution and terror will sometimes be victorious.
How do you answer fear?
History, which has taught us that terrorism is nothing new, has also taught us that there
are three responses to terror:
1.Submit to it;
2.Run from it;
3.Stand up to it.
As reports of ISIS filled the news, so did reports of the Iraqi army fleeing in terror.
These troops were trained in warfare and given the weapons to engage in it successfully.
However, no one can give anyone else courage and so instead of staying and facing the enemy,
the Iraqis chose to run. The irony is that many were caught by ISIS and promptly executed.
In those cases, their fear contributed to the outcome they feared most – death.
How do you answer fear?
The Bible has something to say about fear. Proverbs 29:25 states:
The fear of man brings a snare…

Washington’s power players: Out of touch AND out of voters’ reach?

Power players in Washington, D.C., are out of touch. That’s what disgusted Americans
tell the pollsters. What makes it worse is how often they’re also out of reach of the
voters.
Yet to hear them tell it, untouchables like the Environmental Protection Agency are
actually our BFFs — either Best Friends Forever or Bureaucrats Forever Fining us.
Disapproval of President Obama overwhelms his approval ratings, and Congress has to
battle with cockroaches to see which of them is more disliked. Gallup reports the majority
of us have been dissatisfied with the direction of the country in every poll since 2004,
usually by overwhelming margins such as today’s 76 percent.
Rather than being propelled by this into action, millions of Americans figure it does no
good to get involved. What’s the use when Washington’s power players are out of reach by the
voters, including:
• Non-elected bureaucrats
• Non-elected judges
• A president immune from voters he will never face again
• Re-election rates for Congress that hover around 90 percent

President Obama’s left-leaning political ideology combined with sympathies for Islam

“Barack Obama was raised a Muslim, and he claims he is a Christian, and I can’t say for

“You combine that with Obama’s political orientation that is far to the left,” he
continued, “and you get a president who hates war, hates the military, and you have a
formula for military inaction when it comes to combating radical Islamic terrorists like
we are seeing in ISIS.”

The Essence of Christianity

[Ed. note: If we are looking after the least among us... who is less

The apostle James wrote that the essence of Christianity—that which epitomizes “pure and
undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father”—is to care for “orphans and widows in
their distress.” (James 1:27, NASB)
Babies aborted are “orphans” in the truest sense of the word, for they have been
abandoned, by those entrusted to care for them, to the uttermost, even to death. The sheer
number who have been led to slaughter with virtually no opposition even by churches who call
themselves pro-life ought to give us pause before we conclude what we have been practicing
is, in the sight of God, “pure and undefiled religion.”
As to where James came up with his definition of Christianity—divine inspiration, to be
sure. But it also appears he knew his Bible:
Deuteronomy 10:18: He executes justice for the orphan and the widow, and shows His love
for the alien by giving him food and clothing.

Pastors And Churches Violating First Commandment
Posted on September 4 - from chuckbaldwinlive.com
[Ed. note: Does the Bible really say to go along with evil, just because
the government tells you to?]
Regardless of doctrine or denomination, America’s pastors and churches are noted for
teaching various dos and don’ts to their congregations. Obviously, most churches, regardless
of denomination, subscribe to and teach the Ten Commandments. And, depending on the church
and pastor, they can even get extremely detailed and lengthy in the don’t department--
including many taboos not covered in Moses’ Decalogue. Don’t wear these clothes. Don’t
listen to this music. Don’t shop at these stores. Don’t wear this hairstyle. Don’t
associate with these people. Don’t miss church. Don’t fail to give your tithes and
offerings. Don’t drink this beverage. Don’t abandon this program. Don’t have these
attitudes, etc., etc.
And as a pastor who has been in the Gospel ministry for over 40 years, I also try to be
faithful to those principles of Scripture that deal with the negative. Albeit, I hasten to
say that I refuse to join the many pastors today who are as guilty as the Pharisees of old
in the way they teach the traditions and doctrines of men as being synonymous with the
teaching of Holy Writ--which they are NOT.
In fact, the Pharisees were the bane of Jesus’ earthy life and ministry. They were the
constant thorn in his side: they rejected his authority; they harassed and harangued him;
they constantly tried to incite crowds against him; they ridiculed him; they denigrated his
parents; they scorned the place where he lived; they laughed at him; they led conspiracies
against him; they repeatedly tried to kill him; and, finally, they crucified him. The
Pharisees saw Jesus as a threat to their doctrines, their synagogues, their schools of
higher learning, their politics, and, mostly, their position and authority. And he was!

No matter what your perspective on the showdown between locals and law enforcement in
Ferguson, Missouri, there can be no disputing the fact that “local” police should not be
looking or acting like branches of the military.
Unfortunately, in the police state that is America today, we’re going to find ourselves
revisiting Ferguson over and over again. Every time an unarmed citizen gets shot by a police
officer who is armed to the hilt, or inclined to shoot first and ask questions later, or so
concerned about their own safety, to the exclusion of all else, that everything becomes a
potential threat, we’ll find ourselves back in Ferguson territory again.
Here’s the thing, though: whether or not it ever gets reported, whether it incites any
protests or marches or showdowns of epic proportions, whether it elicits any outrage on the
part of the citizenry, Ferguson is already happening over and over again, all around us.

Parents: Watch For These Red Flags at School

[Ed. note: Be careful of what the young ones in your life pick up at
government indoctrination centers we call public schools.]
As summer winds down, kids don their backpacks and jump on school buses once more. Yet
few parents realize what’s about to descend on those innocent heads.
While your children frolicked at the lake, visited Grandma and sang songs at summer camp,
the leaders of America’s education system prepared more essential “LGBT” lessons to infuse
into the hearts of Chloe, Emma and James. Most will be packed with insidious, Christ-less
lies that present great risk to every child’s medical, social and spiritual future.
Grassroots efforts by frustrated parents are trying to eject the leftist Common Core
standards, but meanwhile, educators are being pressured to get that “gay” subject in front
of as many kids as possible. Consulting the essential wisdom of the Huffington Post “Gay
Voices”page, we learn that one high-school social studies teacher who just “came out” as
homosexual last year is determined to weave homosexual themes into the classroom wherever
possible. His method will be to assume a boy might not be heterosexual, for instance. So
when chatting with a male student about dating, he will refer to his possible girlfriend or
boyfriend, to make him feel more comfortable.

Labor Union Accomplishments
Posted on September 1 - from Political Christian
[Ed. note: I have seen first hand the destructive nature of labor unions.
There is a reason they are losing membership among private sector workers.]
Since this is Labor Day, I thought it would be a good time to look at the roll of labor
unions, not from the theoretical perspective which any honest evaluation would reveal that
they function to benefit their members, when convenient, to the detriment of the rest of
society, but from personal experience that, somehow, shows exactly the same thing.
As a young man I went to work in a family owned clothing manufacturing business for my new
wife’s grandfather in the village of Richlandtown, PA. We made nice quality ladies blouses,
a product our open trade policy has since all but destroyed our domestic production. My job
included various record keeping and payroll functions along with some production supervision.
Included were my periodic sessions with the union business agent as we would review the
employment rolls to be certain of dues payment compliance. The business agent was a union
thug, more suited for banging heads than using his. He was an amiable enough thug though and
we got along reasonably well… about as well can with someone running a form of the protection
racket.
The union was the International Ladies Garment Workers Union (ILGWU), at one time, one
of the largest unions in the country. The other union in the area was the Amalgamated
Clothing and Textile Workers Union. There was not a whole lot of difference between the
two, but Amalgamated shops paid their workers ten cents an hour more, and that differential
actually cost us some workers. It may not seem like much, like the seven and a half cents
from Pajama Game, but in those days, late sixties and early seventies it was almost unheard
of for a woman factory worker to make a hundred dollars in a week. After all, two thousand
dollars could by you a pretty nice new car, six thousand would buy you a shiny new Cadillac.

The Screwtape Epilogue: Pastor Pens Letter Supporting Planned Parenthood Clinic
Posted on September 30 - from The Truth Dispatch
[Ed. note: Recalling a C.S. Lewis classic.]
The Rev. Walter Baer of the Episcopal Church of the Annunciation in New Orleans has
penned a letter that could be an epilogue from the C.S. Lewis classic. Screwtape would be
proud of this one. The words practically slither off the screen.
Rev. Baer is pleased to welcome the new Planned Parenthood clinic to his area, and
wishes to extend his heartfelt support for the clinic and thank them for all the good
service they will provide his community. He writes:
“I write to express my support for the right of the clinic to be there and to serve the
reproductive needs of our community.” (Italics mine)
The business that kills babies for profit has a right to exist? (But those babies do not.)
In the earliest days of Christianity, the Christians set themselves apart from the rest
of their culture in many ways, in particular, they refused to expose their infants. They
refused to set the “unwanted” or “unplanned” infants on rocks in the desert heat to be
scorched and picked apart by animals and birds of prey. But you, Rev. Baer, support the
right of the clinic that is the modern-day equivalent of that barbaric ancient practice.
And you consider that Christian behavior?

The Science of Creation
Posted on September 29 - from The Truth Dispatch
[Ed. note: The creation versus naturalistic evolution debate
does not hinge on the age of the Earth.]
When you think of creationism, everybody thinks of the young earth creationism. We
automatically assume that the Biblical account of creation in Genesis refers to a literal
24-hour day. I am probably going to alienate some Dispatch readers, but I believe that the
math of science and astronomy has proven that the age of the Earth and the Universe is
billions of years old.
It proves that the “day” in Genesis was intended to mean a “long period of time.”
However, the creation versus naturalistic evolution debate does not hinge on the age of the
Earth. Rather, the debate is primarily over the origins of man and the existence of God.
Intelligent Design’s irreducible complexity answers the question regarding the existence
of a Creator God “in the beginning,” and the specificity that is required in creation. The
universe could not have been created by random chance and natural selection because of how
every component of the universe has to be specifically exact. However, if science is
correct and the Earth is billions of years old, then what if the science does prove that
the origins of man was created over billions of years from a common ancestor to humanity
(the pinnacle of creation)?

Alba Gu Bràth!
Posted on September 27 - from chuckbaldwinlive.com
[Ed. note: Alba gu bràth (pronounced al-op-pa goo bra) is a Scottish
Gaelic phrase that translates to English as, “Scotland forever.”]
In the colossal movie, “Braveheart” (1995), Mel Gibson’s character, Scottish
freedom-fighter, William Wallace, gave, without a doubt, the greatest war speech in movie
history. The men of Scotland were facing a vastly superior number of English troops before
the Battle of Stirling Bridge; and many of them had already begun retreating in fear. Here
is the exchange:
William Wallace: And if this is your army, why does it go?
Veteran: We didn't come here to fight for them!
Young Soldier: Home! The English are too many!
William Wallace: Sons of Scotland! I am William Wallace.
Young Soldier: William Wallace is seven feet tall!
William Wallace: Yes, I've heard. Kills men by the hundreds. And if HE were here, he'd
consume the English with fireballs from his eyes, and bolts of lightning from his arse.
[Scottish army laughs]
William Wallace: I *am* William Wallace! And I see a whole army of my countrymen, here in
defiance of tyranny. You've come to fight as free men...and free men you are. What will
you do with that freedom? Will you fight?
Veteran: Fight? Against that? No! We will run. And we will live.
William Wallace: Aye, fight and you may die. Run, and you'll live...at least a while. And
dying in your beds, many years from now, would you be willin' to trade ALL the days, from
this day to that, for one chance, just one chance, to come back here and tell our enemies
that they may take our lives, but they'll never take...OUR FREEDOM!
[Scottish army cheers]
William Wallace: Alba gu bràth!
Army: ALBA GU BRÀTH! ALBA GU BRÀTH! ALBA GU BRÀTH!
In the real Battle of Stirling Bridge (which took place on September 11, 1297 in the First War
of Scottish Independence), William Wallace and his band of 2,300 Scots went up against some 13,000
seasoned English troops, including 3,000 cavalrymen. When the battle was over, more than 5,000
English troops lay dead, and the Scots had achieved a crushing victory. Of course, England went
on to defeat the Scots in subsequent battles, and William Wallace was betrayed, seized,
disemboweled, and beheaded. And, sadly, Scotland never totally gained its independence.
It is still a subject of the British Crown today--but maybe not tomorrow!

Death Threats Against Christian Leaders Emerge From Gay Rights Activists
Posted on September 26 - from BarbWire
[Ed. note: Some gay activists have misunderstood truth for hate. It may be
by design.]
I wasn’t surprised when fellow culture warriors, like our very own Michael Brown,
conservative blogger Matt Barber, Concerned Women for America’s Janice Shaw Crouse and
others landed on the Human Rights Campaign’s (HRC) hate list.
The world’s largest gay-activist organization last week issued a report called “The
Export of Hate” that called out a network of American, conservative Christian leaders “who
are working tirelessly to undercut LGBT people around the world at every turn.”
People I work with day in and day out are on that list—and not a single one of them is
a hate monger. Rather, they are painted as villains for being brave enough to lift up their
voices for truth in a spiritual and cultural war for God’s will as it relates to marriage,
family—and souls. But some of the very souls these men and women of God are contending for
are launching literal death threats against them.
The HRC has targeted Scott Lively—an American author, attorney, social activist,
independent candidate for governor of Massachusetts in the 2014 election, and president of
Abiding Truth Ministries—for murder. Lively is target No. 1 on the HRC’s hate list. Lively
says he has received two death threats since the report was published. That death-laced
message also listed Barber and Liberty Law School Dean Mat Staver, among others.

Every sane American should fear liberals.

then are shocked and offended to discover that there are other views. William F. Buckley, Jr.
This time they are miffed that we don't take their dubious word about global warming...
however, their wrath is real.]
One of the first things everyone should understand about liberals is they will tolerate
no dissent. Want to drive a liberal bat guano crazy? All you have to do is disagree with
them.
Liberals don’t want to debate. They want to silence anyone who disagrees with them. The
alarming part is what they want to do with anyone who disagrees with them. Liberal lunatic
Robert F. Kennedy, junior is one of the worst. He is unhinged but he also says what every
liberal wants to say and wants to do.
From The Washington Times:
Robert F. Kennedy Jr., one of climate change’s loudest activists, said there should be a
law that lets authorities punish skeptics and deniers - those who engage in “selling out the
public trust,” he said, in an interview with Climate Depot during New York City’s recent
People’s Climate March.
“I wish there were a law you could punish them with,” he said, in the videotaped
interview. “I don’t think there is a law that you can punish these politicians under …
[and skeptical politicians are] selling out the public trust.”
From CNS News:
On May 19, 2014 PBS' "Moyers & Company" played a clip of scientist, David Suzuki, calling
for politicians skeptical of man-made climate change to "be thrown in the slammer." On day
later, a tweet by well-known alarmist Michael Mann suggested that skepticism could be a "crime
against humanity." As least far back as 2006, and as recently as March 2014, liberal journalists
and radical scientists have advocated punishing people who doubt catastrophic, man-made
climate change.
On March 28, 2014, the popular website Gawker's Adam Weinstein declared "Arrest
Climate-Change Deniers." Weinstein explained there was "clear precedent" to "punish the
climate-change liars." He was very specific on who should be jailed, as well. Weinstein
clarified that the "man on the street" is innocent but just "too stupid." Instead, he
focused on "Rush and his multi-million dollar ilk" and "Americans for Prosperity."

Blathering Eco-Intellectuals
Posted on September 24 - from Tea Party Nation
[Ed. note: It's amazing to watch the arrogance of those with a few degrees
behind their names carry on about how they can fix the wonder self sustaining earth that our
Creator has given us.]
I confess I have always been wary of intellectuals. They love arcane theories that often
have little to do with real life and this is particularly true of eco-intellectuals who
have embraced a panoply of lies and claims about the “environment”, “fossil fuels”,
“sustainability”, and other notions that permit them to bloviate without once addressing
reality.
This has been a week of eco-propaganda on a global scale. On Sunday there were “Climate
Marches.” On Tuesday there will be a UN “Climate Summit”, and there will likely be an
avalanche of nonsense in the media intended to make us believe we have control, influence,
or impact on the climate when it is obvious to the rest of us that we—the human race—have
none.
In the past nearly two decades we have all be experiencing not a warning, but a cooling
of planet Earth. It has nothing to do with us and everything to do with the Sun that has
been in a low cycle of radiation—less heat!
We do not live in a world without risk or trade-offs. For lack of enough pipelines, a
lot of oil is being transported by rail and there have been accidents. Around the world
there are coal mining accidents. Even solar farms literally sizzle birds to death that fly
over them and wind turbines chop them into little pieces.

CFACT report — Climate Hype Exposed
Posted on September 22 - from CFACT
[Ed. note: CFACT releases a new report on the eve of the New York UN
climate summit.]
Executive Summary
Launched in 1988 at the urging of activists opposed to hydrocarbon energy, economic growth,
and modern living standards, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) was
originally charged with assessing possible human influences on global warming and potential
risks of human-induced warming. Over the subsequent decades, however, the IPCC increasingly
minimized non-human factors, to the extent that it now claims only human influences matter –
and any climate changes would “threaten our planet.”
The climate change scientist-government-industrialist complex has grown increasingly
wealthy and powerful. It now spends billions of dollars annually on climate and weather
research, focusing almost exclusively on carbon dioxide and other “greenhouse” gases, and
many billions more on renewable energy research and subsidies that raise energy prices,
cost jobs, and reduce living standards.
Indeed, laws and regulations implemented in the name of preventing climate change have
increased the cost of virtually everything people make, grow, ship, drive, eat, and do.
They affect our lives, liberties, livelihoods, living standards, health, and welfare.
Expert analysts calculate that climate-related rules will cost U.S. families and businesses
almost $51 billion and 224,000 U.S. jobs every year through 2030 – on top of the $1.9
trillion in regulatory costs that Americans already pay every year.
With so much at stake, it is essential that climate research is honest, accurate and
credible, and that the resultant energy and climate policies are based on sound,
replicable science. Instead, the studies and reports are consistently defective and even
deceitful. They incorporate every study financed by this multi-billion-dollar system that
supports the “dangerous manmade climate change” thesis – no matter how far-fetched and
indefensible their claims might be – and ignore all contrary studies and experts. They
rely on faulty, manipulated data, secretive working sessions that revise the “science” to
reflect political “summaries,” and computer models that completely fail to predict actual
real-world climate trends.

Big Labor Millionaires Lead ‘Income Equality’ Convention

Several of America’s wealthiest union bosses spoke at the 2014 Ohio AFL-CIO convention
in Cincinnati this week. The event’s theme? “Building the movement for income equality.”
American Federation of Teachers President Randi Weingarten portrayed herself and other
AFL-CIO leaders as the voices of the working class, although AFT paid her $2,022,274 taken
from union members and forced “fair share” fee payers between 2010 and 2013.
Weingarten reminded convention attendees of the need for higher taxes and more government
spending to create “good jobs” in the public sector, which would also funnel more money to
AFT and other public-sector unions.

Should Christians Be Politically Active?
Posted on September 18 - from Barb Wire
[Ed. note: We should not be content to treat political responsibility as
though it were separate from faith. We are the light of the world. Is it proper for us,
therefore, to stand silently by and watch those living in blindness steer themselves—and
us and our children—into destruction?]
Last week on Facebook I was chastised by a fellow Christian for being politically active.
She accused me of blasphemy, idolatry, apostasy and scripture twisting for my defense of Christians
being engaged in the public battle for the soul of our nation. She is apparently one of the
“pacifist” Christians who believes that we are never to speak out against the evils done by
civil government, because God ordains all authority. Our conversation thread was on a press
release I posted from Senator Ted Cruz announcing his proposed legislation to strip the U.S.
citizenship of any American who joins ISIS.
The lady, who uses a pseudonym of “Barefoot Inhispresence,” wrote that God is sovereign.
Then she cited Daniel’s proclamation (2:20-21) that He establishes kings and removes them,
and she takes Jesus’ silence before Pilate to extrapolate that we should remain silent in
the face of governmental injustice. I wrote to her, “Yes … the Lord is sovereign. He also
calls us to expose the works of darkness.”
To which she responded:
“As they apply to the Church, not rant about the gvmt. There is nothing in scripture
telling us to focus on that except to pray for those HE has set in authority. Oh, except
that to grumble against them is blasphemy against Him, and He takes that very seriously.
Politics are not any focus in scripture…it should not be ours either. We are here to
proclaim the gospel, period. And to make certain the Church is not being tainted by leaven.
Like a bunch of professors who serve the enemy by distracting believers from their one
commanded duty…to proclaim the gospel. And to obey the Lord.”

The Permanently Aggrieved

[Ed. note: This is about societal control, over every aspect of our lives.
I used to be a pick your battles kind of guy, but not any more.]
Welcome to 2014, a year in which being aggrieved on behalf of someone else has become a
multi Billion Dollar cottage industry. Buckets of cash are waiting to be raked in by
liberals self appointing themselves to speak out on behalf of a group who they feel should
be upset about something. The something is not all that important. In fact, the more trivial
the better, since defending trivial matters is damned near impossible.
There's nothing more trivial than the logo for a professional sports franchise. It's
nothing more than marketing material, and usually means not one thing to anyone outside of
its own fan base. So, of course, a group of liberal lawyers decided that in their arrogant
opinion, every single Native American ought to be upset, rather than mildly flattered, that
a professional sports franchise would want to be identified with their people. Further,
they decided, without invitation, that they would level an attack against the horror of
that logo and name on behalf of the party who did not have the good sense to be sufficiently
aggrieved prior to their having spoken up on their behalf. the result is beautiful, since
no one really cares to come out in defense, seeing as how the name Redskins and the
accompanying logo only matter to those who make up the fan base, winning a national debate
becomes much easier when the debate is one sided. Truly, under normal circumstances, I
couldn't care less about what a Football team from Washington D.C. calls itself. Times
are changed though, and I recognize a larger picture forming here.
This is about societal control, over every aspect of our lives. I used to be a pick your
battles kind of guy, but not any more. Liberals must be fought and defeated at every
instance of their trying to inflict their control over us. There is not one positive thing
that they've ever contributed to anything, and like any parasite, they'll eventually end up
killing the host, which for the purpose of our discussion, is every productive member of our
society, those who work and pay taxes.

Losing the Abortion Debate, Planned Parenthood Abandons the Term “Pro-Choice”
Posted on September 10 - from Life News
[Ed. note: When the pro-choice community frames abortion as a difficult
decision . . . It is a tacit acknowledgment that terminating a pregnancy is a moral issue
requiring an ethical debate.]
Pro-choice advocates are on the ropes, which is why they’re ditching their sheep’s
clothing and baring their fangs. I’ll explain why.
If Roe v. Wade were overturned tomorrow, we would celebrate, right? Well, yes, but not
so fast. A fringe element of the pro-choice movement has always insisted that Roe, even
though it legalized abortion in the United States, didn’t go far enough. You see, in his
majority opinion in the fateful 1973 Supreme Court case, Justice Harry Blackmun established
a number of criteria for legal abortion, among them the so-called “viability test.”
According to Blackmun, if a fetus lacks viability outside the womb, it also lacks a
component of personhood, and therefore a right to life. In the years since Roe, of course,
viability has become a moving target, advancing ever earlier in pregnancy as medical
technology advances. Now babies have been successfully delivered as early as 23 weeks,
showing just how arbitrary the Court’s viability test is.

Agenda 21 Simplified – The Standardization of Common Core
Posted on September 10 - from Freedom
[Ed. note: Many in the academic community are more interested in inflicting
their vision of heaven on earth on the rest of us than in educating our students in the pursuit
of truth... wherever it may be found.]
Hanging in the hallways of Northeastern State University's Broken Arrow Oklahoma campus
are signs that state the following: Developing Global Citizens for the 21st century and a
Sustainable Future. It's hard to believe because Oklahoma is said to be one of the most
conservative states in the union; however, the state's universities are overflowing with
hard-core leftists who are attempting to change the worldview of our younger generations.
I specifically remember the very last day of my last class right before graduation. We
watched a video that was essentially describing the end game goals of UN Agenda 21, and
their plans to use the wealth of the United States to redistribute to third world countries.
The video was complete with blaming capitalism and gun owners (of course) for all of the
world's problems and it was very convincing in its argument that America owed the world a
"climate debt" because of our greedy, industrial society.
I found this very interesting because this was around the same time that Common Core was
beginning to appear in the education arena. The point is that Common Core, and education in
general, are vehicles through which UN's Agenda 21 will secure its own future.

‘Armed Patriots’: the Private Citizens out to Secure the U.S. Border

The Rocky Horror Parenting Show
Posted on September 12 - from Barb Wire
[Ed. note: It's time we remove ourselves from this ungodly organization.]
Most parenting “trends” are bad. In general, as a parent, you should strive to be as
old-fashioned as possible. Even if your children subsequently rebel against your authority
— as, predictably, most kids do — you need to give them an actual authority to rebel
against. And then you crush the rebellion like Darth Vader wiping out Alderaan.
Trendy progressive parents nowadays are into gender neutrality. They don’t want to
impose oppressive gender norms on their kids because having normal kids is wrong, or
something. What trendy progressive parents want is for their kids to be hopelessly
confused weirdos, so that the parents then have a “cause” to crusade for. Nothing else
can explain this Huffington Post column by Erika Kleinman:
When Gender Norms Didn’t Work for My Kid
I cut my 3-year-old daughter’s hair really short. She had asked me, specifically, “Can
you cut my hair like a boy? Really, really short?” At first I gave her a bob. Then a
shorter bob. Then finally, when she asked yet another time, I said to myself, “Why am I
avoiding this? Let’s do it.” I got out the clippers.

An Open Letter To My Friends In Law Enforcement
Posted on September 8 - from chuckbaldwinlive.com
[Ed. note: Based on official statistical data, we are eight times more
likely to be killed by a police officer than we are by a terrorist.]
When I was a youngster, my dad told me, “Son, a policeman is your friend.” Through his
jail and prison ministry, Dad became a personal friend of our county sheriff (two of them,
as a matter of fact)--as well as scores of deputies and city police officers. For all of my
life, I have taken Dad’s maxim to heart. In fact, for all of my teen years, law enforcement
was my chosen profession. I wanted to go into law enforcement real bad. It took a divine
call to Gospel ministry to change my plans.
Throughout my adult life, I have enjoyed the friendship of many peace officers. The
county sheriff where I lived in Florida made me an honorary deputy sheriff. I still have
the credentials to prove it. I count scores (and maybe hundreds) of law enforcement officers
around the country as friends. In fact, there are scores of peace officers across the country
that financially support my work. I have had kinfolk serve in various positions of law
enforcement. Anyone who knows anything about me knows I have been a law and order guy
all of my life.
With the above said, it is extremely important that this letter be written, because so many
honorable American traditions and customs are being radically and rapidly changed--including
the philosophies, standard operating procedures, and rules of engagement of law enforcement.
And the change is not for the better.
Let me just be blunt: ever since Ronald Reagan left office, both Republican and Democrat
presidential administrations--along with both Republican and Democrat congresses--in
Washington, D.C., are turning the United States of America into a giant Police State. And
that means that our local and State police agencies are being transformed before our very
eyes into the enforcement arm of this burgeoning Police State. And one of the biggest
reasons for this growing threat to our liberties is that it seems that you--our local and
State police officers and sheriff’s deputies--do not understand that you are the ones that
are being used to create this nefarious Police State.

US Signs Agreement With Mexico Protecting Mexican Workers, Including Illegals

At a signing ceremony on Friday, the U.S. government, through the Equal Employment
Opportunity Commission (EEOC), entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the
Mexican government to allow Mexican Nationals – regardless of immigration status – to
“exercise their workplace rights.”
The MOU is consistent with the “core mission of this commission,” Mexican Ambassador to
the United States Eduardo Medina Mora Icaza said, adding “that regardless of national
origin or immigration status all workers have rights and there are processes to safeguard
them.
“This is what makes this country so great,” the ambassador said.
The four-page memorandum states in the “Overall Objective” section, in part, that its
purpose is: “to establish a collaborative relationship to provide Mexican Nationals in the
United States with information, guidance, and access to education and training resources to
help them understand and exercise their workplace rights, particularly with regard to
reducing violations against them under the laws and regulations that are administered and
enforced by EEOC.”

Security Operators on the Ground in Benghazi Say They Were Told to ‘Stand Down’

Five security operators responsible for guarding the CIA station in Benghazi, Libya

order prevented them from likely saving the life of Ambassador Christopher Stevens and
others.
The claim is made in a new book titled “13 Hours: The Inside Account of What Really

of the deadly attacks from security personnel who were on the ground that night.
“If you guys do not get here, we are going to die!” a diplomatic security agent shouted

However, according to the team, a top CIA officer in Benghazi, who they refer to as

Feds Punish Business For Engaging In ‘Citizenship-Discrimination’

A Texas catering business will pay the United States $26,400 for engaging in

Culinaire has agreed to pay the United States $20,460 in civil penalties, receive
training in anti-discrimination rules of the Immigration and Nationality Act, revise its
work eligibility verification process, and create a $40,000 back pay fund for “potential
economic victims.”
“Employers cannot discriminate against workers by requiring them to produce more
documents than necessary in the employment eligibility verification and reverification
processes,” Acting Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights division, Molly Moran,

Christianity in class

[Ed. note: Now the atheists don't want the constitution taught because they
sey it is too much of a Christian document - no wonder the want to destroy it.]
The debate on Christianity in class has reached the ultimate irony. Those who object to
it, forget one thing: you cannot keep Christianity out of class and still stay historically
accurate. Don’t the opponents know that? Or do they?
Christianity in American history
Yesterday, Ricki Pepin published this essay at Political Outcast. He described something
that should be out of a movie, except it happened:
I was recently invited to teach a 12-week Constitution course using a room at a local
public high school in Springboro, Ohio. The class was open to the public – parents,
grandparents, students. A few community agitators seized this opportunity to flex their
politically correct muscles by calling in the ACLU and threatening a lawsuit if we did not
cancel the class.
The ACLU informed us that if we proceeded with this class we would be violating the
students’ First Amendment rights.
Say what? Teaching about the Constitution would breach students’ rights under that Constitution?
And why would a class in the Constitution breach students’ rights? Because it would hold too much religious content.

Fed Vice Chairman Warns: Your Bank May Seize Your Money to Recapitalize Itself
Posted on September 4 - from SHFTplan.com
[Ed. note: Bank liquidity may take precedence over individual property rights.]
At the height of the financial crisis in 2008 the U.S. government forced some of the
countries largest banks to take “bailout” funds amounting to billions of dollars in order
to keep them from going bankrupt. It was a move designed to not only keep too-big-to-fail
financial institutions afloat, but one that would inspire confidence and keep American
consumers spending. As a result, the last several years have seen stock markets reach record
highs with Americans continuing to rack up personal debt for real estate, vehicles, education,
and consumer goods as if the financial crisis never happened.
But the purported recovery may not be everything that government officials and
influential financial leaders have made it out to be.
Recent comments delivered by Federal Reserve Vice Chairman Stanley Fischer suggest that
not only are global and domestic economies still struggling, but the U.S. government itself
is preparing financial contingency plans in anticipation of another widespread economic
event.
However, this time around, according to Fischer, the government won’t be bailing out
financial institutions in need of cash. Instead, failing banks will turn directly to their
unsecured creditors when they need money. And within this context, that means you.

How Are ISIS And Global Warming Connected?
Posted on September 3 - from Tea Party Nation
[Ed. note: Distractions can be fatal.]
As this is happening, in real time all around the globe, our President has made it a point to
appear as if he hasn't a worry in the world. In fact, he gave a speech to the American Legion last
week in which he told the largest organization of retired former members of the military that in
his view, America has never been more capable of fighting her enemies, both foreign and domestic.
As Barack Obama continues his fantasy golf trail, playing at all of the terrific courses that
appear on every bucket list compiled by anyone who owns a set of clubs, the world around him,
that one called reality that you and I live in, burns baby burns.
Many believe that this points to an Obama detached, but I disagree. I wish that our
current resident of 1600 Pennsylvania were detached, he'd do far less damage to our nation
that way. The fact is however, in that great evil versus stupid debate, the correct answer
is yes. Barack Obama's great transformation of America included the destruction of our
society on almost every level, and with only a little over two years left to go in his
tenure as our chief executive, he's got a lot of work to do. The decimation of our military
and our interests around the globe can only be achieved if our forces are demoralized, from
the leadership straight down to the guys in the field.
As the budget for our fighting forces is squeezed to levels not seen since the
head-in-sand days just prior to Japan's success at awakening the sleeping giant, Barack
Obama has identified that real enemy against which, we should be preparing to battle. Global
Warming and the Tea Party, those are the real existential threats against the United States.
Conservatives singing, "God Bless America," with their hands over their hearts and a totally
fabricated non existent hoax are what our military should be standing guard against, and not
those peaceful Muslims practicing that more violent form of Jihad, rather than the moderate,
"inner struggle," variety.

This Obama Administration Proposal Would Effectively Authorize Some Americans Seceding
Posted on September 3 - from The Daily Signal
[Ed. note: At worst, the Obama administration’s proposal is
unconstitutional, and as a number of U.S. senators have told the administration, it is
“at best offensive to the character of a country devoted to the advancement of all its
citizens regardless of race.”]
In its latest assault on the U.S. Constitution, the Obama administration is proposing to
recognize so-called “Native” Hawaiians as an Indian tribe entitled to separate and become an
independent sovereign and to “reestablish” a “government-to-government relationship between the
United State and the Native Hawaiian community.”
Such an unconstitutional action would amount to authorizing secession for certain residents
of Hawaii.
It would also implicitly authorize government-sanctioned, discriminatory conduct against
any other residents who don’t meet the explicit ancestry and blood-quantum requirements to
be considered a “Native.” This would balkanize Hawaii, dividing the islands into separate
racial and ethnic enclaves, and undo “the political bargain through which Hawaii secured
its admission into the Union.”
At the end of June, the Department of the Interior issued an “Advanced Notice of Proposed
Rulemaking” that set out the administration’s plan, with the opportunity for the public to file
comments ending on August 19. No doubt to its chagrin, the administration encountered strong
opposition at a series of hearings the Interior Department held in Hawaii in June and July,
with one official from the state Office of Hawaiian Affairs being loudly booed when she
declared her support for the plan.

The Corrupt Obama justice strikes again.
Posted on September 2 - from Tea Party Nation
[Ed. note: Do we wonder why it's sometimes called the Department of
Injustice?]
In the almost 240 years of our Republic, there has never been a Department of Justice
more corrupt than the current DOJ under the leadership of Eric Holder. Instead of trying
to advance justice, the rule of law and the principles of the Constitution, Holder is using
DOJ for just the opposite.
The left has adopted a “sue and settle” strategy where left wing groups sue and then the
Department of Justice “settles” the case on favorable terms to the leftists.
From Breitbart:
As part of a legal settlement that will allow some illegal immigrants who deported
themselves from Southern California to return to the United States, the federal government
has agreed to advertise the settlement on various Mexican and Spanish-language media outlets.

Union Payback
Posted on September 1 - from Political Christian
[Ed. note: Delivering dollars and votes can be very beneficia when one is
looking for special advantages and access to those in power.]
On July 10, Barack “I owe these unions” Obama’s Office of Management and Budget issued
a policy memorandum to all federal department and agency heads “encouraging” the use of
costly project labor agreements (PLAs) that pushed unionized labor to the front of the
line when hiring for federal construction projects. This memorandum was issued in
coordination with Executive Order 13502 which further clarifies the union preference for
projects over $25 million.
These union workers represent only about 16% of the construction labor force, yet after
supplying millions of dollars to the Obama campaign and thousands of foot soldiers to
execute the political ground game, they are now in the preferred position for the taxpayer
financed government projects.
