Obama and Islamic Jihad: Evil Is As Evil Does

Posted on March 30 - from DC Gazette

During President Obama’s negotiations for a profitable deal with the non-democratic Regime of Iran, the number of people executed increases every day; freedoms of speech, religion, women, and journalists are restricted more and more, and civil, labor, and political associations are suppressed heavily.

Evil is as evil does.

There’s no other way to describe President Barack Obama’s foreign policy toward cruelly murderous Islamic jihad.

Example could be piled upon example in which Obama has advanced the cause of jihad and weakened the United States. Here are just three:

Example 1: While pursuing token, limp-wrist attack on the Islamic State (ISIS) in Iraq and Syria, Obama is in hot pursuit of a nuclear arms pact that will not stop Iran’s nuclear program.

Former U.S. ambassador to the UN John Bolton has called for an attack on Iran’s bomb-making facilities as the only way to slow or stop Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

“The inescapable conclusion is that Iran will not negotiate away its nuclear program,” Bolton wrote in an op-ed for The New York Times on March 26. “Nor will sanctions block its building a broad and deep weapons infrastructure.” Read more...

Christian Discrimination in the Name of Tolerance

Posted on March 27 - from TruthDispatch

More intolerance in the name of tolerance... I guess it depends on what you want tolerated. Some values are appreciated and others need to be stifled in the name of free expression.

The United States is in economic peril due entirely to the Keynesian economic philosophy of government intervention and deficit spending. However, America is also in moral decline due entirely to the moral relativism of progressive humanist philosophy targeting Christianity and America’s Judeo-Christian heritage. The latest example is of a Navy Chaplain being discriminated against for expressing his Christian views on marriage and human sexuality by keeping him from ministering to a family of a sailor in his unit.

What makes the discrimination of Christians worse than all other forms of known discrimination is that the world essentially tells us it is okay to discriminate against Christians. When Christians shine light on the reality of Christian discrimination, we are laughed at as if we are fools. Why does the world seem to scoff at the idea of there being Christian discrimination? First, we preach the name of Jesus as the only Way to Heaven. We also espouse the idea of one absolute moral truth, which is in stark contrast to the progressive humanists’ moral relativism. Children’s Book about Abortion: My ‘Sister Is a Happy Ghost!’

Posted on March 26 - from NewsBusters

In the acknowledgements, the writer thanked her own “ghost sister” and warned “Masochists, look elsewhere,” because, “between these pages you will not find the ‘luxury of grief,’ culpability’s sharp sting or salty guilt.”

A three-year-old named Lee defends the abortion of his sister in a new children’s book – by an author with her own “ghost sister.”

“Sister Apple, Sister Pig” by Mary Walling Blackburn focuses on an adult topic: abortion. The story follows Lee as he (or “she,” as the author stressed) searches for his sister – who might be an apple, a pig, or somewhere in a tree. Lee later decides “Sister is a happy ghost!” and explicitly says he’s glad Sister isn’t around to inconvenience his parents.

“Lee is Papa and Mama’s only child for now, although there once was a sister,” the book began. “Where does Sister live now?”

At one point, Lee explained to his Papa, “Well, she used to live in Mama and doesn’t anymore.” After Papa agreed, Lee reiterated, “She lived before me, but Mama couldn’t keep her. Mama says she is a ghost.” Read more...

IRS Bureaucracy Continues to Target Conservatives’ Constitutional Freedoms

Posted on March 23 - from ACLJ

Surrendering one's constitutional rights is not a solution. The regime is doing it's best to stifle those who expose the truth.

The new IRS commissioner brought in to clean up the corrupt bureaucracy responsible for targeting grassroots conservative groups and infringing upon ordinary Americans’ constitutional freedoms admits that the targeting has not stopped.

Commissioner John Koskinen, testifying before the House Appropriations subcommittee this week, admitted that nearly a dozen grassroots conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status are still awaiting determination.

One thing is clear – the unelected and corrupt IRS bureaucracy continues to infringe upon our basic freedoms.

Commissioner Koskinen claimed that he has offered a path to tax-exempt status if these groups would agree to limit their overtly political activity. But the standard offered in this so-called compromise is arbitrary and continues to infringe upon fundamental freedoms. The offer asked our clients and other groups to agree to spend no more than 40% of their resources on political activity. Read more...

She Was Raised by Lesbian Mothers. But This Woman’s Open Letter Reveals Why She Now Opposes Gay Marriage.

Posted on March 21 - from Tea Party Crusaders

“I grew up surrounded by women who said they didn’t need or want a man. Yet, as a little girl, I so desperately wanted a daddy.”

A woman who was raised by two lesbian mothers has come forward to explain why she transformed from an activist in favor of gay marriage to an opponent of same-sex nuptials, saying the traditional family structure is the most successful and beneficial to children.

"My mom raised me with her same-sex partner back in the ’80s and ’90s. She and my dad were married for a little while. She knew she was gay before they got married, but things were different back then,” Heather Barwick wrote in an open letter published in the Federalist. “She left him when I was 2 or 3 because she wanted a chance to be happy with someone she really loved: a woman.”

Barwick said she lived with her mother and her partner in a “very liberal and open-minded area” and was treated well by both women. She said her father, by contrast, “wasn’t a great guy." Read more...

Apostasy: Presbyterian USA Chooses Sodomy Over The Bible

Posted on March 20 - from BarbWire

This group has rejected Christ in firmly rejecting His clear teachings in the Bible—the whole of which is His Word.

The world is overflowing with deception (good is evil, and evil is good), false religions and doctrines forged in Hell. Among the world’s false religions, there are none more sinister—in my opinion—than those that claim the name of Christ while espousing all kinds of unbiblical error and even things the Lord calls abomination. While other false religions are no less dangerous to the eternal spirits of those beguiled by them, it is supremely detestable when false gospels are presented under the name of Jesus.

Today, we see rampant apostasy in many so-called Christian churches. There are plenty of denominations and churches that have created their own set of man-made traditions and regulations apart from Scripture, and in some cases, contrary to it. When churches that purport to be Christian rely on anything other than the Bible alone for revelation of God’s plan for mankind, then error is inevitable. When the Rock is not your foundation (no, the Rock is not Peter; it’s Jesus), then you will be prone to swallow all manner of false teachings.

Thus it is with the Presbyterian USA group, which voted this week to add the acceptance of sodomy-based “marriage” to its constitution. This follows on the heels of a 2011 vote that saw the group amend its charter to accept the ordination of unrepentant homosexuals to leadership position in its churches. Read more...

White House ‘Surprised, deeply disappointed’ by Netanyahu victory!

Posted on March 19 - from America's Freedom Fighters

Sad to see our country's "leaders" are taking us down the path to the wrong side of history... and worse yet, our Creator.

Although the Obama White House is, as expected, too petty and childish to congratulate the Prime Minister of one of our closest allied countries for his smashing victory, reports are starting to surface that might help to explain Obama’s unconscionable behavior. According to the Jerusalem Post, the White House appears to be in the first stage of grief — denial and isolation:

Privately, the White House is expressing deep disappointment with the result of Tuesday’s elections, which they believe reinforces some of the greatest points of tension inflaming the relationship between Washington and Jerusalem. Netanyahu’s comments on the eve of the polls, apparently backing away from his support of a Palestinian state, particularly irked the president’s team.

Senior US officials were caught by a genuine sense of surprise with word of Isaac Herzog’s trouncing, as they had been relying on the same local polling data available to the public, two such officials told The Jerusalem Post. Other officials declined to characterize the White House reaction, reinforcing a generally muted and controlled response. Read more...

Why UC Students Voted to Remove American Flag

Posted on March 18 - from TownHall

[Ed. note: Freedom of speech, in a space that aims to be as inclusive as possible can be interpreted as hate speech.]

Two weeks ago, a group of students at the University of California at Irvine removed a U.S. flag from a common area of the student government suite.

Shortly afterwards, six undergraduate members of the Associated Students Council of UCI passed a resolution banning the display of the flags of any nation in the office lobby. The resolution was authored by student Matthew Guevara of the School of Social Ecology

Among the reasons the legislative council objected to the American flag were:

--"The American flag has been flown in instances of colonialism and imperialism."

--"A common ideological understanding of the United States includes American exceptionalism and superiority." Read more...

James Dobson, Rick Scarborough, Mat Staver Address Supreme Court Same-Sex Marriage Threat

Posted on March 14 - from Stream.org

[Ed. note: Preparing for an ungodly decision about homosexual marriage by the Supremes... the court, not Mary, Florence and Diane.]

This Tuesday, March 10, I was asked to join more than 30 other deeply concerned church leaders on a conference call. The topic was the marriage and family-damaging decision the Supreme Court may soon make.

If they follow present cultural trends and rulings of numerous lower courts, by June they will rule against the biblical and historical institution of marriage in favor of what is being called “same-sex marriage.” Below are excerpts from comments and concerns expressed by those who participated in the call.

These comments have been edited and condensed without compromising the content or concerns. I felt very deeply in my heart that it should be shared with all who are concerned about the obvious assault on faith, family and freedom. Read more...

Righteous anger

Posted on March 12 - from Conservative News and Views

[Ed. note: Righteous anger requires that the anger be in accordance with the will of God. Yes, it is possible for a Christian to stand up for what he knows to be right.]

God tells us in the Bible to be angry but not to sin (Eph. 4:26-27). As human beings who are quick to act upon our anger – especially when it is justified – we struggle with this in our family lives as well as in our social and professional lives. Many within Movement Conservative are facing the dilemma of being angry about what has been done to our Constitutional Republic and being confused about its biblical justification. To be clear, anger is a strong feeling of displeasure often as a reaction to a real or sometimes perceived injustice. Righteous anger requires that the anger be in accordance with the will of God. Therefore, we need to ask ourselves: would God be angry about what is happening in America today and why?

How do you define righteous anger?

In the New Testament we are told that the children of wrath (which is God’s passionate judgment and holy indignation against sin) are those who conduct themselves in the lust of the flesh and of the mind (Eph 2:3). A good example of righteous anger is Christ overturning the tables of the moneychangers who were selling sacrificial animals in the temple during Passover (John 2: 13-16). Christ was angry – with good reason. They were turning God’s house into a den of thieves. In the Old Testament there were many incidents that recorded God’s anger with ancient Israel, i.e. 1 Kings 11:9-10; 2 Kings 117:18. In all instances, God’s anger was provoked by lawlessness – or the people’s refusal to honor God and the Mosaic laws. Read more...

Ted Cruz warns Dems: Obama will use criminal charges as a ‘political weapon’ against you, too

Posted on March 9 - from BizPac Review

[Ed. note: The Obama regime does not tolerate any opposition... not even from their own "friends".]

U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz suggested to reporters Saturday that federal corruption charges against Democratic U.S. Sen. Robert Menendez could have been motivated more by politics than justice.

“The announcement this week by the Justice Department that they were bringing charges against Bob Menendez — I will point out that the timing seems awfully coincidental,” the Texas Republican said at the Iowa Ag Summit in Des Moines, The Hill reported. “In the very week that Bob Menendez showed incredible courage to speak out and call out President Obama for the damage that his policy is doing to our national security … the Justice Department announces they’re moving forward with the criminal prosecution.”

Attorney General Eric Holder signed off on charges against Menendez on Friday, accusing the New Jersey senator of using his influence to help a friend and donor in exchange for gifts.

“It raises the suggestion to other Democrats that if you dare part from the Obama White House, that criminal prosecutions will be used potentially as a political weapon against you as well,” Cruz said.

Earlier last week, Menendez blasted President Obama’s nuclear arms negotiations with Iran. Read more...

The Great Terri Schiavo Divide

Posted on March 7 - from First Things

[Ed. note: The political diversity of Terri’s supporters has been ignored or downplayed in most media stories—and from the beginning. ]

At the end of this month, Terri Schiavo will be ten years dead. But she is far from forgotten. Everyone reading these words knows the story, and everyone has an opinion. What began in 1990 as a private tragedy—a vivacious young woman stricken in the prime of life with a severe cognitive disability—became a source of profound cultural division, as likely to spark debate today as when the case first broke into the public’s consciousness.

Why has her story remained so potent? Part of it has to do with the high-profile and vituperative legal and public-relations battle between Terri’s husband, Michael, and her parents, Bob and Mary Schindler. Still, most heated public controversies run their course and fade into history. But not this one. Since her death, Terri has become a symbol of deep-seated conflicts in our country about the nature of human life and what role we have in controlling it—or ending it.

Even though Terri’s case had nothing to do with abortion, she quickly became mired in the “pro-life” versus “pro-choice” argument. True, abortion opponents strongly supported the Schindlers’ effort. But they were not alone in defending Terri’s life. For example, the disability rights movement—generally secular, distinctly liberal in political outlook, and hardly pro-life on the abortion issue—also vociferously opposed Terri’s dehydration (which precipitated her death). So did some progressives, like Jesse Jackson. Read more...

My Tribute To The Defenders Of The Alamo

Posted on March 6 - from Chuck Baldwin

[Ed. note: Please try to remember the heroes of the Alamo as you watch our spineless political, corporate, and religious leaders surrender to globalism, corporatism, socialism, and political correctness. ]

March 6, marks the anniversary of the fall of the Alamo outside of San Antonio, Texas, back in 1836. For more than 13 days, 186 brave and determined patriots withstood Santa Anna’s seasoned army of over 4,000 troops. To a man, the defenders of that mission fort knew they would never leave those ramparts alive. They had several opportunities to leave and live. Yet, they chose to fight and die. How foolish they must look to this generation of spoiled Americans.

It is difficult to recall that stouthearted men such as Davy Crockett (a nationally-known frontiersman and former congressman), Will Travis (only 26 years old with a little baby at home), and Jim Bowie (a wealthy landowner with properties on both sides of the Rio Grande) really existed. These were real men with real dreams and real desires. Real blood flowed through their veins. They loved their families and enjoyed life as much as any of us do. However, there was something different about them. They possessed a commitment to liberty that transcended personal safety and comfort.

Liberty is an easy word to say, but it is a hard word to live up to. Freedom involves much more than financial gain or personal pleasure. Accompanying Freedom is her constant and unattractive companion, Responsibility. Neither is she an only child. Courage and Honesty are her sisters. They are inseparable: destroy one and all will die. Man Shares His Heartbreaking Story in Front of an Abortion Clinic: “My Baby Died There”

Posted on March 5 - from Life News

[Ed. note: A story about the forgotten victims of abortions.]

As LifeNews blogger Lauren Enriquez has written, “With the Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade decision in 1973 came the legalization of the ultimate usurper of fatherhood: abortion.”

“America faces the unpleasant reality that, thanks to abortion and the sexual revolution, the role of fatherhood has rapidly made an about-face. Fatherhood has gone from being an unquestioned ingredient in family life to a variable that occurs in the family dynamic only when circumstances are aligned just right,” she writes.

With that in mind, consider this tragic and heartbreaking story Mike & Kathy Forck of the 40 Days for Life campaign in Columbia, Missouri. Read more...

Netanyahu: ‘Israel Will Stand, Even If Alone’

Posted on March 4 - from BarbWire

[Ed. note: Men have tried this before, but they forgot that Israel is not alone.]

Addressing members of both houses of Congress, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu assured the world Tuesday that even if his country has to stand alone in the face of the Iranian nuclear threat, “Israel will stand.”

“We are no longer scattered among the nations defenseless. We the Jewish nation can defend ourselves,” he said.

He was received warmly by members of both parties inside a packed House chamber and was interrupted by applause some 40 times.

Netanyahu said the nuclear deal being negotiated with Iran and leading world powers, including the United States, will spark an arms war in the Middle East.

“This is a bad deal, the alternative to this bad deal is a much better deal,” he said, arguing Israel needs a deal that will keep it on the map. Read more...

Obama Negotiates Israel's Destruction

Posted on March 3 - from Tea Party Nation

[Ed. note: Men have tried this before, but they forgot that Israel is not alone.]

The strangest thing about Obama’s efforts to achieve friendly relations with Iran, something he has tried to do since he first took office in 2009, is that Iran has made it abundantly clear since its Islamic revolution in 1979 that it hates America and, in tandem, Israel as well.

In an Iranian naval drill on February 25, Iran blew up a mock U.S. aircraft carrier near the entrance of the Persian Gulf. It was a full-size replica of the USS Nimitz. This is the antithesis of friendship, but just to make their position clear, Iranian Rear Adm. Ali Fadavi, commander of its naval forces, let it be known that “We have the most advanced sea mines which cannot be imagined by the Americans.”

But the Americans—in this case the President of the United States and his negotiators—have been making every concession they can to get an agreement that would limit Iran’s ability to produce its own nuclear weapons. Dr. Norman Bailey, an adjunct professor of economic statecraft at the Institute of World Politics, Washington, D.C., recently wrote that “The U.S. looks set to present its allies with a dangerous fait accompli on Iran’s nuclear program.” Read more...

The truth of ‘net neutrality’ and Obama’s Internet takeover

Posted on March 2 - from Personal Liberty

[Ed. note: "Net neutrality is simply government speak for taking control of the internet from the free market and placing it under the heavy hand of unelected bureaucrats.]

The deadline for this column fell before the Federal Communications Commission’s historic vote on so-called “net neutrality.” However, barring an unforeseen “global warming” catastrophe, the Democrat-dominated, yet supposedly independent-by-statute, regulatory agency will have voted, probably 3-2, that the federal government should envelop the Internet in its smothering embrace. In a world where the Internet is freely and easily employed by everyone from President Barack Obama to the lowliest jihadi warming the bench for the “junior varsity” Islamic State, the Democrats have decided that they need to step in, lest “@AkbarUlulates4Allah” has to wait an extra millisecond to post to his Twitter feed.

Through a misinformation campaign conducted with almost breathless expertise, Obama, backed by groups funded by nearly $200 million of George Soros and Ford Foundation resolve, has managed to convince an inordinate number of Americans that a lack of so-called “net neutrality” will result in evil, faceless telecom companies forcing you to wait hours to upload the family Kwanzaa pics to Instagram, while evil, faceless telecom executives can log on to evilfacelesstelecom.com in the blink of an eye. Of course, anyone who is reading this is rolling down the information superhighway at speeds that were unimaginable just a few years ago. Those speeds, which would presumably continue to improve on the same curve they’ve followed since the days of AOL dial-up, are possible only because of the continued improvements made by the same companies that are now being accused of throttling the life out of the Web. As FCC Commissioner Ajit Pai noted earlier this week, net neutrality is “a solution that won’t work to a problem that doesn’t exist.” Read more...

Obama Just Issued THIS Threat to Netanyahu for Defying His Demands

Posted on March 31 from Conservative Tribune

It is sleazy, it is unethical and it is corrupt, but what about Barack Hussein Obama isn’t?

President Barack Hussein Obama schemed and plotted for months like a proper Disney villain to prevent Benjamin Netanyahu from being reelected as Israel’s prime minister.

But though the president lost that battle, he continues to maliciously conspire against both Netanyahu and the Israeli people.

This time around, our diabolical president hopes to stop Netanyahu from creating a right-wing coalition government by threatening to throw support behind a U.N. resolution “aimed at creating a Palestinian state.”

Obama desires instead that Netanyahu form a bipartisan coalition government containing members from either Israel’s left-leaning Zionist Union or Israel’s center-left Yesh Atid Party.

Why? Such a government would make it exceedingly difficult for the prime minister to pursue his goals, one of which happens to be to prevent the U.N. from allowing the Palestinians to form what would be little more than a terrorist state. Read more...

Arab League to forge NATO-like military alliance of Sunni powers

Posted on March 30 from Washington Times

Leaders seek to combat threats from Iran, Shiite rebels it supports in Middle East.

Seeking to combat threats from Iran and the Shiite rebels it is supporting in the Middle East, Arab leaders meeting in the resort city of Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, agreed in principle Sunday to forge a NATO-like alliance of Sunni powers to engage in regional military action with or without leadership from the U.S.

Analysts say the decision by the Arab League to create a collective fighting force that will consist initially of some 40,000 elite troops from several Sunni Arab nations backed by fighter jets and warships was driven mostly by desire from Saudi Arabia — the wealthiest member of the alliance — to confront more aggressively a potentially nuclear-armed Iran and its proxies.

With the announcement just days after Riyadh opened a bombing campaign against Iran-backed rebels in Yemen, analysts say, concerns are deep among Saudi and other Sunni nations that Tehran’s ability to meddle in affairs across the Middle East is about to be amplified by a nuclear agreement involving Iran, the U.S. and other world powers. Rev. Graham: ‘Don’t Shut Up!’ – ‘Homosexuality is Wrong’ & Abortion is ‘A Sin Against God, It’s Murder’

Posted on March 28 from cnsNews

“Don’t you shut up!” he said. “It [abortion] is a sin against God, it’s murder.”

While many Christian pastors are afraid to preach against homosexuality and abortion because some people in the pews complain, claiming their child is gay or abortion is a choice, the pastors must not shut up, said Rev. Franklin Graham, emphasizing that the sole guide is the Bible, which teaches that homosexual behavior “is wrong” and that abortion is “murder.”

Rev. Graham, 62, also stressed that pastors and the church must not shrink from teaching young people moral truth because most of the schools and colleges teach that immorality, such as homosexuality and abortion, is “okay.”

“It [abortion] is a sin against God, it’s murder,” he said. “And today, young people in the church don’t know that homosexuality is wrong. Because pastors aren’t speaking about it.” Read more...

The Bible’s Teaching on Homosexuality: Clear, Final, and Sufficient

Posted on March 27 from BarbWire

Throughout the history of Christianity, false teachers have arisen with superficially appealing challenges to Scriptural truth. The Deity of Christ, for example, has been doubted and denied since His resurrection.

A professing Evangelical church in California has jettisoned its commitment to orthodox Christian teaching on homosexuality.

City Church of San Francisco has concluded that it “will no longer discriminate based on sexual orientation and demand lifelong celibacy as a precondition for joining” its membership. Why? Because, says its pastor, counseling men and women who are attracted to the same sex to remain celibate for life causes them duress.

Well, yes, undoubtedly it does. To remain sexually abstinent for life would be extremely hard for anyone. Yet it’s what Scripture demands of everyone not married to a partner of the opposite sex. Read more...

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy.” -John 10:10

I was humored this week with the “scary” interview that the state-controlled media put out on terror suspect Christopher Cornell, also known as Raheel Mahrus Ubaydah. He said the terrorists were in Texas, Ohio, New York City and Washington D.C. His message was that they are in your country and in your state, ready to wage jihad on American soil. Really?

Well, how couldn’t they be when they have an administration helping them along at every step of the way, pulling down all security on the borders, as well as opening up the flood gates to illegal aliens on the American people? Additionally, the administration has been appointing America’s sworn enemies to high positions in our government and its agencies (Deuteronomy 28:49).

Is Cornell’s threat a lie?

Cornell went on to say, “There will be many, many attacks. Like I said, we are ready for the battle over the Capitol.”

Of course, there will be. Scripture tells us that when a people are under judgment, the “sword will be without, and terror within (Deuteronomy 32:25).” Read more...

Don’t Confirm Loretta Lynch

Posted on March 21 from National Review

All of this is probably academic, because Republicans will eventually hold a vote on Lynch, and they almost certainly don’t have the stomach to defeat her, in part because they fear the dreaded accusation of racism-sexism — or is it sexism-racism?

An unanswerable question hangs over the nomination of Loretta Lynch for attorney general: Is Republican opposition to her more racist or sexist?

As an African-American woman, Lynch represents a gloriously double-barreled opportunity to accuse Republicans of sub-rosa hatreds.

The political benefit of what feminists call intersectionality — membership in two or more historically oppressed groups — is not having to choose which accusation of bias to make.

Illinois Senator Dick Durbin went to the Senate floor to effectively accuse Republicans of racism in the nomination fight, even though Hillary Clinton had tweeted that it is sexism and the head of Lynch’s sorority has said it is both. Synergy! Read more...

St. Patrick’s Day Miracle in Israel: Netanyahu Comes From Behind to Win

Posted on March 18 from Breitbart

The formerly mainstream media are at a loss for words. They had expected Netanyahu to lose, perhaps even by a wide margin.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has apparently defied the mainstream media and the Obama administration with a stunning, come-from-behind victory in Israel’s elections on Tuesday. Netanyahu’s Likud Party had been projected to lose to Isaac Herzog’s Zionist Union by a margin of 26-22. Two exit polls released at the close of voting, however, suggested Likud would win, 28-27 (a third poll showed them tied). Netanyahu is now expected to form a new governing coalition.

The results suggest that the race shifted dramatically in the last few days, as Netanyahu opted for an all-in, “gevalt” effort to rally his supporters.

Netanyahu had three messages: first, that if Israelis wanted him to return to power, they would have to vote for his party; second, that he would not allow a Palestinian state to be created despite earlier commitments; third, that foreign donors and governments were mobilizing Arab voters, including some who oppose Israel’s existence, to turn out. ‘Gays’ and the Muslims who Kill Them

Posted on March 15 from BarbWire

[Ed. note: Indeed, the self-styled arbiters of “tolerance” and “diversity” are the most intolerant and monolithic among us. Their anti-Christian bigotry is well documented.

We recently had a guest contributor at BarbWire.com link to an article that, to our disgust, calls for the “lawful execution” of homosexuals. It went unnoticed by our editors and was removed once discovered. As we fully expected, a handful of especially virulent homosexual and atheist bloggers had a heyday with it nonetheless. They implied, knowing full well that it wasn’t true, that Christians in general and BarbWire in particular want homosexuals executed.

Of course, Christians, as does the Christ to whom we belong, desire nothing of the sort. We want nothing short of eternal life for all humanity, including homosexuals. We are “not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance” (see 2 Peter 3:9).

Now, Muslims, on the other hand …

The dhimmi left largely refuses to mention it, so I will. Homosexuals are, right now, actually being “lawfully executed” in Iran and other Muslim nations across the globe. To my fellow followers of Christ, I say this: They need our fervent prayers, deepest sympathies and unconditional support. Not in affirmation of their sexual sin, which the homosexual lifestyle remains, but because they are victims of Islam – because they are deeply loved by their Creator, Christ Jesus, who wants desperately for them to repent, accept Him and believe upon His Holy Name. The Dignity of Motherhood

Posted on March 13 from BarbWire

[Ed. note: Some of that nonsense is contained in the usually unspoken but nonetheless real assumption that children are somehow secondary to professional achievement.

As I consider all my wife has done with and for our three children, I’m humbled by the sacrifices she has made day in and day out. Our children are delightful, but they are human, which means they are fallen in nature and finite in judgment. That means that motherhood is hard. Really hard.

Motherhood is under attack. “No fault” divorce, cohabitation, promiscuity, abortion-on-demand, and pornography have made women of childbearing age prey to a variety of evils and susceptible to the often malign choices of others. And simply being a mom can induce demeaning comments (“all you do is stay at home with your kids, right?”) and hurtful expressions of ignorance (“nice you don’t have to work, isn’t it?”).

In a perceptive article on how we have “overcomplicated” motherhood, Anna Mussmann notes that “Babies change people, and when women give up personal freedom for the sake of love, lose their sense of control over the physical world, and nurture their commitment to another human being (even when they do not feel like it), they are transformed into the kind of adult who can be a haven and an authority for children. They become wiser and better able to recognize cultural nonsense for what it is.” Read more...

America’s Last Stand: Where is the one-third

Posted on March 11 from Reclaim Our Republic

[Ed. note: Washington, Locke, and everyone else at the time fundamentally understood human rights were not manmade; they were God-given. Washington saw a government removing God-given rights and knew his responsibility was to act, to defend those rights.

America’s crises today are as dire as those the colonists faced in 1775 and Nazi-era evil.

In 1775 there were 2.5 million people living in British American colonies who were nearly equally divided. One third actively fought for independence; one third were loyalists who supported King George; one third were apathetic and uninvolved.

Of the one third who actively supported independence only 85 percent, or approximately 63,000 were able-boded men. Their opposition was formidable: 40,000 British soldiers, 75,000 loyalists and 75,000 apathetic, uninvolved neighbors. Those fighting for independence were the minority.

They faced greater dangers than those of the Civil War era. During the Civil War, Americans generally supported the side where they lived: the North or South. Yet, in 1775 the patriots, loyalists, and apathetic lived next door to each other—even in the same home or family.

A single street in any town was the battleground for civil war with spies as neighbors. Fighting the enemy literally meant hand-to-hand combat and firing at close range mostly on one’s own property. Read more...

[Ed. note: Tolerant of everyone but Americans with traditional or Christian values.

It’s a business that sells itself on being non-judgmental but Planet Fitness has allegedly revoked the membership of a woman for complaining, according to WNEM. Yvette Cormier, a member at the Midland location, says she had no idea what that meant until a few days ago.

“I was stunned and shocked. He looked like a man. He did not look like a woman,” says Cormier. Cormier is talking about a person who walked into the woman’s locker room while she was getting undressed. She says she couldn’t believe her eyes.

“This is very unprofessional. This is very scary,” continues Cormier. Cormier says she immediately complained to the front desk and eventually to corporate offices.

“They told me the same thing, that he was allowed in there because that’s the sex he wants to be,” says Cormier. Read more...

America – The New Sodom & Gomorrah?

Posted on March 6 from Sons of Liberty

[Ed. note: It was John Adams who said that, “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” I’d like you to keep that thought in mind as you read this article.

Last week, we were in California on a Ministry trip. On our last day, we had some time to kill before our flight left at around midnight that night. So, after meeting one of Bradlee’s drum endorsers, we decided to burn some time by driving through Hollywood.

When people think of Hollywood, they think of the home of the stars: Glitz, glamour, and everything that goes along with it. Hollywood has the walk of stars (Bradlee likes to call them the “Fallen Stars” because it is a mockery of Jesus Christ, who was found by wise men that followed a bright “star.”), the big Chinese theater (which is really not all that big), and more. I saw Elvis, Ironman, Wonder Woman, silver tin looking men, and some other street dancers, but the one thing that really struck me, were all of the ads, billboards, and advertisements for the new movies and TV shows that are out now, and every other kind of filth you can imagine.

We wonder why we have a terrorism problem in America. We wonder why we have shootings in schools and kids killing themselves (Hosea 4:6). We wonder why we have death panels on Obamacare, but do we stop to remember that we reap what we sow (Galatians 6:7)? Read more...

"America the Apostate" by Charlie Daniels

Posted on March 4 from Florida News Flash

[Ed. note: Our politicians are nothing more than a reflection of the self-centered, fragmented, uninformed naive and apathetic people we have allowed ourselves to become.

The pressing problems of the United States of America parallel it's national debt, huge, growing and accumulating the kind of interest this nation can ill afford to pay.

We would like to blame our pandemic of troubles on the men and women who hold political office, and goodness knows, much of the fault can be placed directly on their shoulders.

But when you think rationally about our politicians you have to admit that they are nothing more than a representation of the collective needs, wants, greed, sloth, fear and morality of the nation who put them in office.

The vacuum of leadership in the White House, the malaise and childishness of Congress, the backbreaking entitlement programs, the loss of manufacturing to other nations, America's lack of prestige and respect, the deep racial and financial divisions in our society and the lion’s share of the other numerous problems our nation has accumulated are not directly the fault of the elected politicians but of the electorate which empowered them. The Cancer of Multiculturalism

Posted on March 2 from Jewish World View

[Ed. note: Islamists and leftists attack not only Christianity but also free market capitalism. They do so because Christian nations, which have a great measure of economic liberty, have been at the forefront of the struggle for personal liberty and private property rights for centuries.

President Barack Obama surprised many at the National Prayer Breakfast when he lectured us, "Lest we get on our high horse and think this (barbarity) is unique to some other place, remember that during the Crusades and the Inquisition, people committed terrible deeds in the name of Christ." Obama went on to explain, "In our home country, slavery and Jim Crow all too often (were) justified in the name of Christ." In Obama's mind, Western outrage at Islamic barbarism should be tempered by the remembrance of what Christians did a thousand years ago in the name of Christ. Plus, that outrage should be chastened by our own history of slavery and Jim Crow.

President Obama's vision is that of a man brainwashed through an academic vision of multiculturalism, in which American exceptionalism has no place. It's a vision that has been shaped by a longtime association with people who hate our country, people such as the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Weather Underground leader and Pentagon bomber William Ayers and Ayers' onetime fugitive wife, Bernardine Dohrn. A vision that sees a moral equivalency between what Christians did centuries ago and today's Islamic savagery is quite prevalent in academia. It's part of what's worshipped on most college campuses as diversity and multiculturalism.

At the very heart of multiculturalism is an attack on Christianity. Much of that attack has its roots among hypocrites in the intellectual elite. For example, Duke University sponsored Muslim calls to prayer in the name of promoting "religious pluralism," until external pressures forced it to cancel the practice. Earlier, Duke administrators removed Chick-fil-A as a campus vendor because of CEO Dan Cathy's comments regarding his religious opposition to homosexual marriage. So much for religious pluralism, tolerance and free speech. Read more...

[Ed. note: Christianity on verge of extinction in Iraq

Former Rep. Frank Wolf, the leading voice for religious freedom in Congress for decades, says Christianity is on the verge of extinction in Iraq and the remaining steadfast believers do not see much effort from the U.S. or other Western nations to improve their plight.

Wolf served in the House of Representatives from 1981 to 2015. He is the author of the International Religious Freedom Act, which established the International Religious Freedom Office at the State Department and created an ambassador-at-large position to promote religious freedom around the world. That post has been vacant for some time.

Upon leaving the House, Wolf became the first-ever Wilson chair in religious freedom at Baylor University and co-founded the 21st Century Wilberforce Initiative. He co-led a trip to Iraq in January to observe conditions for Christians and other minorities and to speak to people firsthand. The group recently released a report based on that trip titled, “Edge of Extinction: The Eradication of Religious and Ethnic Minorities in Iraq.” He said the conclusions of the visit were obvious. Today in History

Jews to be expelled from Spain (1492) In Spain, a royal edict is issued by the nation’s Catholic rulers declaring that all Jews who refuse to convert to Christianity will be expelled from the country. Most Spanish Jews chose exile rather than the renunciation of their religion and culture, and the Spanish economy suffered with the loss of an important portion of its workforce. Many Spanish Jews went to North Africa, the Netherlands, and the Americas, where their skills, capital, and commercial connections were put to good use. Among those who chose conversion, some risked their lives by secretly practicing Judaism, while many sincere converts were nonetheless persecuted by the Spanish Inquisition. The Spanish Muslims, or Moors, were ordered to convert to Christianity in 1502. Read more

So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.
James 4:17

It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religions, but on the gospel of Jesus Christ! For this very reason peoples of other faiths have been afforded asylum, prosperity, and freedom of worship here.
Patrick Henry

If men are so wicked with religion, what would they be if without it?
Benjamin Franklin

If we ever forget that we are One Nation Under God, then we will be a nation gone under.
Ronald Reagan

Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name's sake.
